I was a little hesitant to visit the spa due to my upcoming surgery but she was 100% correct about how much it would help my current situation. I had a massage by Amanda. WOW. double WOW. That's all I can say. She is beyond excellent at her job. The skill level is out of this world. I am waiting for a shoulder surgery from years of climbing. She not only was super careful around the tear that I have but fixed all of the muscles that have been in disarray due to the injury. Amanda had an extern (Andrew) with her so I listened to her explain the muscles and exactly what/why she was doing to my body which was super cool. She has so much information stored that really makes a vast difference in the level of care she gives. She's also just a super nice person that wants the best for everyone. As does Clara. Andrew was very nice as well and helped with the massage a little. He is going to be great too. I can't recommend this place enough. The moment I stepped in the door, I knew I was in the correct place. The moment I stepped out of the door I felt so much relief and built up stress just gone. Amanda is a magician. I can tell they have a very strong work ethic and Dr Santana takes pride in his business, and rightfully so. He is doing everything a business owner and doctor should be doing. They work long hours over there to be there for people in pain. Doctor Santana never rushes appointments. I don't know how he does it, but I always feel listened to. He makes sure you are already starting to feel less pain before you leave (and for me it is when I wake up the next day that my back is fully better). Also he treats his patients with compassion, kindness, and respects. There is no big ego like with many doctors. He is down to earth, and caring. I also love getting massages with Marie, as she knows my back well, and what it needs. The acupuncturist is Asian and has his credentials on his wall, so I felt like he would know what he is doing. I came here because my knee had been hurting for over 2 months after sitting in a middle seat during a 12+ hour plane ride where I felt like I messed up a nerve or alignment somewhere. After trying a chiropractor, doing exercises through physical therapy and massage, I decided to try acupuncture. At this place, he first does about a 10 minute cupping session, then a 10 minute heating pad, then a 10 minute acupuncture then about a 5 minute massage.
