I met her very recently and although we hadn't worked together yet, I learned tremendously simply by her genuine way of being. Yesterday, I attended one of her talks on managing the chaos and it spoke to me greatly. I found Dawn when I needed directions with my career. What attracted me to her are her focus on whole life (not just how to find another job) and group sessions so I can meet others going through the same thing. It's good not having to go through this alone. I finished the program a few months ago and I now feel the best I have ever felt since I could remember. My co-workers even told me that they sensed a change (for the better). I couldn't be more satisfied. During the program she made me feel like we have been good friends forever and I felt comfortable telling her everything. I found Coach Dawn during the time I was frustrated about my career, fed up with my boss, and was not sure what I could do to change my situation. I knew that I was in a dead end job without any career advancement, and I worked for a boss who was very much an old school guy, who does not like strong women, has no clue how to manage the business, and was constantly being disrespectful and mean spirited. I applied for many jobs and tried to get away from where I worked, but all I received was rejection replies. I was pretty desperate and feeling hopeless. Through my 4 months session with Coach Dawn, she provided tremendous guidance and support to me in dealing with my issues. Dawn was well prepared, very professionally dressed and composed, and a great addition to our event as our Keynote Speaker. We are a professional group of techies in a user group that meet quarterly, and had Dawn come to our one day conference event for something different then the long powerpoints of technical info, product demos and roadmaps we usually see during our main general session of the day. Rev. Dawn was the bomb.com! We chose to do the pre-marital counseling through her and have not regret it at all. She was flexible and met us at our loft for the 6 sessions and we were able to learn so much about communicating and tips for our relationship now and in the future. She walked us through the outline for our vows and ceremony setup and was very professional and efficient. We had SOOOO many people compliment us on our vows and ceremony and told us that this was the BEST ceremony they've ever been to (and they've been to a lot - we are 35 yrs old). On the day of our wedding, Rev. Dawn felt like family and we were so happy to be standing at the altar and have her marrying us. I found Dawn through a direct Google search for career coaches in my area. When reading about her I was enticed about how she maintains a holistic and spiritual quality in her coaching practice, something I had not experienced before but was curious to try. I was unsure about contacting a coach without prior recommendations, but after listening to an interview she posted on her website, I could tell that I would get a lot out of working with her. I was at a frustrating roadblock in my career, tired of discussing it with friends and family with no idea on what to do to get out of the rut. I truly felt that traditional therapy was not what I needed or wanted. I've had a handful of meetings with Dawn, but she has already helped me SO much.
