Dear Mr Whitten.
Having been a loyal and satisfied customer of your business for some time, I am compelled to write this because you were so utterly rude to me today. Having been told by your member of staff that I could bring a used door to be resized and that he would check for old screws and suitability for cutting, I hired a car in good faith and brought the doors to you today. You refused to even look at the doors and told me 'I don't do that' and that I was 'making up' the advice your staff member had given me. When I politely explained that this situation was incorrect and that all staff need to be advised of your personal policy, you shouted "I'm John Whitten!" , turned your back on me and then were appallingly sexist by assuming that the man who was with me would 'understand' because I 'could not.' I do hope no female member of your family is ever treated so disgustingly.
Had you been mature or polite enough to acknowledge I was given advice you disagreed with and to respect the inconvenience and cost to which I have been subjected, I would have respected you and continued to do business with you. As it is I will be warning potential customers of what is likely to to happen to them if they risk entering your establishment. read more
