She ran in to Chik-fil-A to get her to go order and was gone maybe 10 minutes. After coming back, she could not find her truck. These guys were obviously watching the lot closely. The tow wasn't illegal (questionable as you will see later) but was definitely unethical as they used a snatch truck on our brand new F450. They were rude on picking up the truck, did not have a signature from the company requesting the tow, used less than optimal equipment when towing the truck (flatbed vs the quicker snatch trucks), and worst of all messed up the alignment and multiple sensors on the truck. After taking the truck to a licensed mechanic and the Ford dealership back near our home, many of the sensors were damaged and needing replacement or reprogramming. When questioned on why they didn't use a different, more optimal truck for towing, the manager said he has been doing this for a long time and that's how he has always done it. I also mentioned the broken sensors and the truck driving rough (the brand new F450 we have saved up for years for!) and he proceeded to tell me- in not so kind words- the mechanics were wrong and didn't know what they were doing- yes, the Ford certified mechanic and the second-opinion mechanic as well. In summary, this business is unethical at best and honestly predatory in its practices. My truck is damaged and they refused to even take responsibility for even possibly messing it up. It would have been at least a tolerable experience if they would have at least apologized and showed a little empathy. They didn't though and made the experience so much worse than it should have been. I'm not sure how such a business is allowed to be open if it has such unethical practices and takes advantage of normal everyday people just to make a buck and then treat them like trash and idiots.
