I was referred to this location by a business colleague who stated to me that he had done business with the owner in the past and would go back again and again. I would recommend them to anyone looking for information and/or considering purchasing a bike that hadn't thought or known about them in the first place. As a business owner myself I can tell you that I don't have a lot of time for high pressure sales and appreciate attention to detail which to me shows pride of ownership. Both Walter and Paul were very passionate about the business and lifestyle that evolves around the biking community. Thanks again guys for your assistance; we look forward to enjoying the new bikes! Despite the many positive Google reviews, this place is actually not so great. The prices are…read moreexorbitant even by the inflated pricing in place by most bicycle shopsthese days, the selection is fairly wide-ranging, however. But, I would be willing to pay even these even I had some decent, competent, caring service which I have simply never gotten. Take for example my most recent experience with their staff: I felt rushed, they also did not know the specs on the bike, couldn't even figure out whether they had certain models in stock. Last but not least, good luck trying to find parking as they are located in an atrocious location with heavy traffic right in front the store. Folks, when you want me to drop 2-3k on a bike, I expect your attention and assistance, not half-hearted service that you would expect from a drive-thru.

They help you figure out the best pack for your body size, usage, etc...and they fit you too. I found that their travel accessories are definitely cheaper than other travel shops around the city. Also, a decent bike accessory section. They generally carry their own MEC clothing line so you won't likely find the more recognizable outdoor brand names here. Since it's a co-op, you just need to sign up as a member for $5 (lifetime membership) but like most places you can just use your phone number instead of carrying their card around. The one thing that sucks about this place is the lack of parking! It's located on Portage and Donald so it's only limited to street (meter) parking. And there's no street parking allowed in that area between 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm weekdays. I saw a banner that allows free 1 hour parking if you buy more than $10 worth of stuff at an Impark lot somewhere on Smith. Not sure which lot that is but obviously I didn't spot that sign until after I circled this place for 10 mins!
