A High-profile, time-dictated estate matter in Santa Barbara, involving apartment buildings that my family is very shortly to have dumped in our laps. I was notified through the trust that we had THREE WEEKS to prepare ourselves to take on the ownership, management, insurance, and a $200,000 liability on top from deposits that one Lola Zinke(look it up) ABSCONDED WITH. He assured me that he could handle it, had "many, many" connections in CA & his father practiced out there for 40 years. Good for his daddy. I hope he had more integrity. We are under a timeline(that he hastened to make me worry about) and he made promises that he didn't keep, made me wait more than a week to "research it," and after he wasted my (and my family's) valuable time, severed communications, leaving us in a WORSE POSITION than before I conferred with him. As far as his degree in "Theology," although he may have read the books, he has zero integrity as far as I'm concerned, and uses it to mislead people(typical shyster). Don't let him waste YOUR time if you have BUSINESS to accomplish. He CAN'T handle it. Then he won't TELL YOU that he can't. He was late for court almost every hearing, which caused us to have to wait an additional hour before we could get acknowledged and have a place to be heard by the judge- but always billed for that hour. Aaron would often schedule several clients for the same times in court, in different court rooms, and I assume billed all clients, like he did me, for the entire time he was a the court house that day. In one four month period Opposing counsel missed court dates / appearances on 4 different occasions, often "with no call / no show" and although Arron Bundy billed me for each occurrence - he refused to try to take any action, which would compel the opposing counsel to the next court date, or to hold him accountable. The higher cost than the financial impact was to the relationship with my children and how they were effectively used. I often wondered if he was involved in manufacturing controversy- as a soul means of generating "more billable hours". When I finally was awarded a judgement against my ex-wife for attorney fees, the judge decided that I was only allowed about 1/3 of the fees I had paid, because my attorney had severely over billed me. The icing on the cake was three fold- the judgement was written incorrectly (respondent / petitioner were reversed, so it was signed by the judge to reflect that I owed my ex-wife for the $2400 judgement that I had been awarded. Aaron Bundy refused to correct the clerical error that was of a draft he had written. I was very upset and wrote a complaint to the Oklahoma Bar Association- which they responded to in one day, indicating that he had not ethically done anything wrong. The kicker was that he responded to the bar inquiry several weeks later - with lies and half manipulated truths. In Summary- You wEILL get fleeced and taken advantage of By Aaron Bundy- after retaining other counsel I came to learn that Arron Bundy's incompetence and dishonesty is a well known fact around the legal circles. Do your family Do not become a victim of this attorney- and if you have fallen prey to this man / Look at your detailed billing and you will probably see.
