Positive reinforcement has worked great for the puppy. You can't train the puppy out of a puppy but it sure has made life with one much easier on both of us, using her methods. He's a happy guy and so am I!

My recent experience with the reception staff and the Veterinarians confirmed my approval of this clinic. The front staff is always pleasent, the other staff always come and say "hi", giving my pup a good scratch. They have pictures up on the walls of the staff with their pets, it reassures you that they are owners too, that they love animals. There is always at least 2 dogs behind the front desk, a cat here and there. The check-up rooms are always clean. The Doctors are always thourough and talk with you about your dog, not just at you. When I had my dog nuetered I knew that he would be taken care of. He loves people and they took an interest in him, which I am sure they do with all the animals coming though there. We had no issues with his surgery, the incision looked great and healed well. Their prices for visits and shots are reasonable. The nutering was quite pricey, but we did pull out all the stops, like extra pain meds, the infamous "cone" and a microchip. They have a wall of toys for pets, as well as an extensive stock of Doctor recommended foods. I have been nothing but pleased with their treatment of my pup and their friendliness to me. I will definitely keep Crowfoot Vet as my go-to place for my pets!

I have been using them regularly for about 2.5 years and can not say enough good. Tyson loves his Aunty Laurie and before her he had Margaret who was also wonderful. Laurie goes so far above and beyond it is unbelievable(as did Margaret in the short time she cared for him), I know only one other pet care giver who could be Laurie's equal in the caring department and coincidently she referred me to him and he saved my guys life a year ago!! So we are thankful for Aunty Laurie in more then just her orthopaedic knowledge/skill. She will probably kill me this week when we see her but I have even got videos in pjs late on Friday nights that she has gone to the kitchen with her dog and husband to make for me because she was concerned about my complicated little buddy and wanted me to try some things that were easier shown then explained. Thanks," (end of first email) Five (5) days later, the response I receive back from Canine Fitness: "Hi Nikki, We have tracked down the progress of your brace, and unfortunately there was a Canada Post delay due to the unrest in the union there. So as it turns out, Canada post failed to deliver the brace cast for some time and as a result the cast was received at the fabricator's on the 6th of July. So they have only had it for 6 days. We are working with the fabricator to arrange an alternate carrier to get the completed brace back to use so that we are not depending on Canada Post at this time. We'll keep you updated." Monika The Canine Fitness Centre (end of the second actual email) Now, my actual email in response to Canine Fitness absoulty blaming their inefficiencies on someone else incompetence- " Wow. Rio is getting worse by the day. This is extremely unfortunate. Why was the item not tracked and this issue resolved earlier? How did this sit somewhere for an extended period of time and no one notice? This is unacceptable. Yes, please keep me posted. I am relocating soon for school and I need that brace before I go. I'd like you to use Canada post and track the movement, as there is no stoppage in work- as they are in my neighbourhood everyday, and another courier is bringing me a different parcel, and I've been waiting for two weeks longer than it was suppose to be." - end of email. When I called and spoke to monika I was enformed the only person with access to the tracking numbers had gone on vacation. For at least two weeks. This business accepted no blame, offered no remediation- nothing. They are unprofessional. In their opinion, they are not to be held accountable for their lack of customer service or customer satisfaction- which they have none. I was also informed by monika that even tho I clearly pointed out it was not a Canada PoSt issue and in fact a Canine fitness issue, and that they were to use Canada post of purolator- and to use the actual tracking number they provide daily to track my brace once it was finally completed, she replied they still would not be. Do not use this business for your K9 needs. They could two shits about you once they have your money. I also called the company. Told them what had happened. Suggested they find a new competant partner in Calgary.
