The SUV was plush (just what you want after a long day of travel), luxurious interior, water was waiting for us inside, car temperature was perfect, the music was soft and calming (good choice), and it was smooth sailing all the way to our destination. We booked Tuffys from Parrish to TPA for our wedding and honeymoon to Fiji. We had a 7am flight…read morewith a 4am pickup. The quote was reasonable, $100 + tip. In the beginning the communication was good and we confirmed the ride the day before. The morning of the pickup we were already outside with luggage, wedding dress at 4am. Eight minutes past our pickup time I texted and called with no answer or reply. I called 3 more times between 4:08 and 4:23 with no answer. We were forced to call an uber that was 30 min away. With a very long travel day ahead of us and the added stress of making it to the airport in time was not how we wanted to start our day. One and half hours later i finally received several calls from Joseph. 12 calls back to back. I texted him back and told him we were in a Uber and had nothing to say to him. I had to tell him twice to stop calling me. He said he had an emergency with his daughter and didn't have his phone with him. He did offer to pay for our uber and give us a free ride when we returned but after this first experience we are not willing to give Tuffys a second chance. Plus, uber was cheaper.
