The yarn barn. So i walked there. It's located in a residential area on Reynard so you have to be looking for it. You can get decent quality yarn for a fair price and there's a good selection of textures and colors. My crocheting looks so much nicer using this quality yarn. Note: they ONLY sell yarn.

"How is it that you were smart enough to read and write at 4 but still can't cut paper?!" she would lament. Ok...so I'm not crafty. I still can't cut or sew a straight line to save myself. I didn't get that gene passed down from Mum. So she's the real reason why I come here. This place is like craft-mum-crack. She can't get enough. Yes Michael is very knowledgable about his silks, but when his firm assertions ( about colour) were shown to be incorrect, he started criticising my fabric knowledge, 'what would I know about fabric' and similar - I've never experienced such rudeness in a retail shop. The other staff members were lovely and very helpful, but once Michael took over serving, the interaction turned incredibly sour. I'm not the type to hold onto such things, but I was left frustrated and annoyed for at least a week afterwards! I was at pains to purchase the fabric from them, yes I had exhausted all other options in Melbourne and it WAS perfect, but the service was just so gobsmacking obnoxious!
