Parent were not allowed in the studio to see how they perform and i was not musical to measure their progress too which i regret wasting now. Few instances she was over reacting or yelled at kids and they were refusing to go inside for her class. One of my kid had special needs and she has no patience or knowledge in handling a special need kid/kid. After few more red signs i had to pull my kids out of her place. I am glad i moved them to another place and i cant believe on the progress they have made now. They have both passed RCM Level1 and Level2 and are in level3 now passed all with distinction and honors. Beware non musical parents to monitor your kids progress. It's rare to find people who go above and beyond anymore. I would've been satisfied if he just fixed my issue (reseat the saddle, check the piezo) and wiped off the fingerprints. Instead, he went next-level: sanded the saddle, adjusted the action, shimmed the piezo, oiled my dry fretboard, put on new strings, and cleaned her up like Christmas morning -- all before heading out on a big trip. One time I got there to pick up my guitar and it was right at closing time. The guy at the font desk had already closed out the register but opened everything up again so I could pay and take my guitar. The last guitar I brought in was an old Gibson semi-hollow (over 30 years old) with a tailpiece that had a reputation of being difficult to work with. I also wanted a complete set up, flat wounds put on and the action adjusted. It came out perfect! They got it done in a day!!! I'm so happy. I hope to meet this mysterious guitar wizard named Brian one day and shake his hand. After 4…read more30-minute lessons, he could read music rhythms (eight, quarter, half, whole note and rest), knew all the notes on the piano, learned about finger numbering/placement and was beginning to play short strings of notes. Pretty impressive for 30-minute lessons a week apart in a 4 year old who can barely concentrate on any task for more than a few minutes. The set up seems cool here. Music rooms with more of a rock music instruction focus. Some individual lessons and some whole bands of kids playing. Loungey area to hang out with snacks and air hockey. Really cool spot!
