My family and I have been going to Ocean City, Maryland since 1993. We started with the summer…read moreafter our first child turned 1 and now she is 29. In the years that followed we would go ever chance we could whether for a day trip, long weekend or vacation. We love the people and the area. I have 6 children in all and was desperately seeking a way to connect to OCMD when we weren't there. I did searches for radio stations that broadcast over the internet and was met with nothing. Over the years I found webcams of our favorite place but continued to look for a radio station. Long years after I found a few radio stations who broadcast on the web as well. It started great and the DJ's were right from the area but then the station changed hands. The 2 DJ's who were from the area were replaced with some out of town yahoos who may have never even visited OCMD! I waited months to find where the DJ's would land next. They both caught jobs again at another shore station but then COVID struck and some managers took one stance or another and my guys were gone again due to some real lack of common sense. Finally RadioOceanCity.com started. I had it all. The scenes, the sounds and hearing what was going on in my favorite place. Every morning I start with coffee, work and RadioOceanCity (not in that order). BK and Chrissy in the Morning Monday - Friday and Tom Schultz with the Weekend Chill over the weekends are all local which makes the feel just right. BK, Chrissy and Tom talk with friends and occasionally BK's mom calling from time to time about their town so come along for the fun and enjoy the ride. You'll feel like your having a great time with them because they love the place as much as we do. Oh, and don't miss the 2 Minutes with Marley segment with what's going on in OCMD. In some part at least I'm still there. As for the sounds... The music is a great blend of country beach, summer classic, and dance with the occasional remix added that just makes it magic to listen to. Radio is never going to be the same.
