I came here by accident after not being able to get into the Klosterhof on a Sunday (closed). It is a modern Konditorei with a nice menu of pizza's and pasta nothing over the top traditional German, more of a place for cakes, coffee, beer and a quick delicious bite.
I had fusilli pasta with a goulash meat that was perfectly cooked. The salad had a strong vinaigrette on it, not to my perfect liking, but it was super fresh and very well balanced in all the delicious lettuce offerings. The beer was a local Pilsner of some kind.
Prices were a bit on the high side here you could say this is downtown Frankfurt expensive. My lunch ran 25 Euro. Many people come in here for the fantastic cakes which is the first thing you notice along with the Pizza oven when you come in.
This place is definitely worth your time if you need a quick bite, or a cake and coffee. read more
