He got insurance and we signed agreed to half up front for each 1 job then when finished paid and onto the next. First he wanted 80% of it all up front and I did not agree and glad I did not. He did half of it all to collect then stated after having a demolition hammer going on in my basement and I hear uhhh ohhh, thats ok we can fix it. That he would not continue unless I signed a paper saying he was not liable for his work. Um not, a company is always liable for their work, which is why people have insurance. Come to find out through out the town he is already in trouble for this sort of thing. I see his workers give him reviews, as well as that is not his correct number and actual patriot homes services llc, he will use that or patriot home services. Dont get it confused with the other patriot homes, which is why I stated his name. He was suppose to cut down 2 trees, see pics, do they look cut down, he was suppose to put a roof on and supply the material with the money but brings bent metal, then asks me to supply it, he tried to milk money from me left and right to do other jobs he had lined up for tool rentals for those jobs. He tore up my house and left it high and dry like the others trying to back out with a, "before I go further you must sign release of liability". He made the crack in my basement where a tree was growing on the corner a 7x7 hole, and left it wide open that night knowing it was going to rain the next day and the fuse box right next to it, as well as anyone could walk through my house. His so called tree cutting job was just topping off the trees. He was suppose to fix hole in the floor but I found underneath in the basement it tore an electrical outlet and left it hanging. Which I fell down the concrete rubble he left putting tarps around it so water would not get in. Even his workers texts me turned against him saying it was wrong! I really dont need to go on and on, the pictures speak for themselves. Be warned before using Brockton Collins.

Deciding in early spring that I was no longer going to put it off I put out a Facebook request asking "Who can build me a deck?" Maier Construction came up. I contacted Cam and even though he was on vacation at the time he said he could come by the next Monday. I had know idea how to even start to tell him what I wanted. I just had a vision in my head. He took that made a plan, gave me a quote and the next week I had a deck just like I wanted. He attached that to a deck I already had, built a step the length of the existing deck and a gate to keep dogs secure when company comes. And speaking of that gate, it ended up being tall than I wanted and he came back and made it perfect and I could not recommend Maier Construction more. Dependable, easy to work with and fast. I had a deck in a week, Ya'll.
