The gift certificate was for a Hot Stone Massage (which I had never had) which she raves about all the time. Considering I live 200 miles away, I had to make sure I could get an appointment during my next visit to Scottsbluff. I made the assumption that a small town would never experience the scheduling lead-time that a larger city spa would face, but I was wrong. After two attempts I was able to secure an appointment with Lisa for what was the best massage ever! I don't think I can ever go back to a Swedish/Deep Tissue Massage after experiencing one of the Hot Stone Massages at CYS. Service was great and I am happy to see my hometown with such a nice facility run by Lisa, a Scottsbluff native! I can't wait for my next visit to CYS.

The receptionist and I had a disagreement that we resolved, but another staff member, Heather jumped in the conversation and was being condescending and rude. I was asked to follow her to the room where I would receive my acupuncture. Behind closed doors it got worse. I was answering her medical questions and she continued to be rude. I had filled out paperwork beforehand and finally asked her to just get her answers from the form. I have PTSD and knew I needed to calm myself down. So, I informed her I was stepping out of the room. At this point she yelled at me saying I was freaking out and I yelled back I'm going to go calm myself down and left the room. Went to sit down and she came out afterwards stomping and yelling that I needed to go in the room if I still wanted the acupuncture and put on some shorts. The receptionist asked if she could speak with me privately and I agreed. We had a short discussion about what was going on and afterwards I felt a little better. Then Thomas the Chiropractor came in asked a couple questions and I asked him if Heather was his employee, he said yes she's worked for me for 20 years. Asked him if he planned on addressing her behavior and his reply was a little strange. I assumed when he walked in he would apologize for her behavior and ask me what happened, but he didn't. Seemed to blow it off. In the middle of the exam I told him I would not return and he stopped the exam. Then he informed me he would call the VA and say we weren't a good fit. I said tell them what you want and I'll tell them what happened. He walked out and I left. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Would give them no stars, but Yelp is requiring a star rating
