As the others have said, John is really great! I have brought all kinds of oddball jobs to him and he figures out how to do it. Sometimes he will say "I can do that, but it is faster, cheaper, and better if I do it this way." I feel lucky to have him there as a resource. And always a bargain. read more
John, the owner of this shop, is a real treasure. He's a great machinist, in the old school style.
I had a pretty simple project, a shaft to be turned on a lathe, and he did it for a very reasonable price. He even added a useful feature I hadn't though of (asking me first). read more
John is awesome. I have a 1200XL Harley Nightster that the nipple under the bike for the kickstand spring needed to be built up. I called 8 different motorcycle repair shops and welders, John was the only one willing to meet with me. Not only did we meet within a day or so, he fixed my bike the same day. I had been trying to get it fixed for 4 months prior to finding him.
His price was extremely reasonable. Just a side note, when I called it was his day off... he called me back within the hour! Thanks to John my bike is safer, I am safer and I don't have to keep using ponytail holders to keep my kickstand up when riding ;p read more
