I give LB a 3.5 star rating ( Yelp: we need a way to give a .5 review). I graduated from here, and my brother attends now. It's a secondary school (a middle and a high school). There are a lot of students in one class year...my graduating class was about 700 students. The teachers, for the most part, are great. However, they could use more improvement on the quality of teacher's and quantity of teacher's they provide. I felt like most of my teachers were running around because they have so many students and could not provide the adequate attention for an individual student. The guidance counselor office could also use some help, as most days and times my and my brother's counselor is not available. It's very frustrating to track him down to ask about classes, recommendations, and nominations. The school has many elective classes and extracurricular activities available for students.

These empanadas routinely run out before the game ends because they are THAT good, the volunteers working the stand are some of the friendliest parent volunteers running a concession stand. This is borne out by the fact that there are alumni who sponsor different innings even though they have long moved out of the area. Impressive in so many ways. Most high school concession stands have joyless packaged foods that are the antithesis of homemade. It is a testament to Annandale High School's athletic boosters and specifically their baseball team volunteers to have added this delightful twist to the usual high school concession stand fare.

The show, The Night Sky and our place in the Cosmos, was approximately 45 minutes. It was very informative, fun and impressive all wrapped in one. We went on a narrated journey through the cosmos with stars, constellations, nebulas, planets, solar systems, and galaxies. Our guide and narrator, Ms. Stewart (the astronomy teacher), did a fantastic job; she made it fun & you just wanted to her keep going so you could keep learning & soaking up as much as you could.
