Parking lot is brand new as well as the entrance. There are some interesting memorials throughout the cemetery. I liked the Vietnam Memorial, kind of interesting to know 4,000 dogs didn't come home. Of course there are some new dedications up for police, fire and current military dogs.

This Branch is conveniently located on the north side of the township offering residents a very nice option to the main branch without the 30 - 40 minute round trip travel time. The building itself is very clean and modern and is very well organized in its layout. Relative to media, this branch has a large collection of books, news papers, periodicals, educational/entertainment DVD videos, educational/entertainment CD's and audio books. One of my favorite areas is the DVD area where they carry new release movies that are available for FREE to West Bloomfield residents with their library card. Also their are many computers available to access the internet through the use of their library card that provide lower income folks and people who want a quiet place to study the ability to access the internet free of charge. Lastly, this facility is very kid friendly with several play areas dedicated to children and a weekly story time hour program that we usually take our Grandkids to (big hit for our grandkids). Overall West Acres is a outstanding library that is one of the gems of the township that I highly recommend you check it out if you are in the area. Five stars.

Not as big as the main branch, for sure, but if you live up in the WB/Waterford area, it's worth a visit. I remember how it looked before the facelift, too (the 2000 one, mentioned below) and it's come quite a ways since then. Staff is helpful (again, I'm biased ...) and IIRC, there is plenty of seating room with a few cozy corners as well - the magazine area especially has some nice seating areas. If you live up in this area, it's worth it to go here rather than the main library, though if you're looking for meeting space or a bit more room, I'd recommend the Main. Overall, though, a very nice, smaller library.

I've been friends with her for 20 years, and for as sudden as her death was, it doesn't make it any easier. We used to joke about this place. Hey, I live right down the road from the funeral home! Now, unfortunately, its the last step in me seeing her. The staff here was pleasant and helpful. I don't know what they charge but the facility is really nice on the inside. Beautiful sitting rooms, chapel area, kitchen area with food, and ample parking. My friend lived literally across the street on Liberty. Where she died. Nothing takes the place of my friend, but the place seemed to be nice. 5 stars for being classy, clean and professional in every way. The structure is very similar in style to other county courthouses in Michigan built in the same era, such as those in Lenawee County and Barry County. Like many of the older courthouses, the requirement for space necessitated a supplemental building. There is a modern building next door to the old Courthouse, as well as other buildings in town, that house county functions.
