This has to be the best craft fair in Edinburgh with over 100 quality stalls including woodwork, art, jewellery, pottery among many other crafts. There is a large proportion of Scottish craft but it also attracts talent from across the UK. It's a great opportunity to buy something unique and handmade for yourself or as a gift.
It also has a unique setting for a craft fair, in the grounds of St John's church. A slightly ambitious strategy during a Scottish summer but it is lovely to wander round when it's sunny!
The café in the church reasonable food for sustenance on your way around the stalls, and saves venturing further afield for lunch - leaving more time to shop!
It is open every day throughout August (apart from the first Sunday), with free admission you can't really go wrong.
The company also hold a craft fair at the Assembly rooms near Christmas which is always handy! read more
