What a scam - they're operating now at 5900 Pruitt Ave , Windsor. Chris Miranda came to my house last year - bid and came and picked up my car - experience was a disaster. My son and I had a running 68 Charger dream car project and this scammer came and picked up my car and deposit and pretty clearly never had any intention of doing the work. Worst of all these idiots took my car apart , lost parts and basically destroyed our project. See the other Yelps and Google show theres lots of other judgements suits and complaints against this SCAMMER- cant see how hes even still operating. These people should just hire a 'professional Collection Co. to pursue their judgements. Finally after a year and a half of no replies and lies- when i went to get what was left of my car - the sheriffs dept was already there for another scammed victim. Beware I discovered theres a whole huge lot of dozens of other poor victims cars sitting out in the rain there belonging to other scammed victims. Why would he still be taking cars and deposits if he has dozens of burned victims waiting years ahead of them- Thats intent to defraud. Still deserves less than zero stars. I have RECOVERED my vehicle at a DISCOUNT PAINT SHOP, where it sat for over a year....untouched. I believe it was his intention to have discount work done, have me pay a premium price, and get subpar results. Chris never paid the guy for the stripping work he did on my truck, and that caused all work to be stopped and has been sitting for over a year. Chris kept lying to me telling me how much work had been done, how much rust they found, and that they had epoxy painted it. It was all a lie. It had only been partially stripped. If your car has been painted by Chris....there is a very high likelihood, from my experience, that he has had a discount shop do your painting. if you chose to go with Chris...why not just take it to a discount paint shop instead and cut out the criminal middleman??????? read more

The biggest mistake I made in my life was to trust Chris and West Coast Auto Craft to work on my 1966 Nova. Chris came to my home and gave me this line of BS about what he could do to my car and how great it would look, so I hired him. I gave him a sizable deposit and he took my car. After about three months he called me and said he was making good progress on my car and needed more money, I sent him more money. After eight months i made the 1 1/2 hour trip to Santa Rosa to check progress. When i got there i found my car buried in a corner behind 5 - 6 other cars and very little done to it. I had $10,000 invested at this point. I knew something was up and questioned Chris about it. All I got was more BS about how he was moving his shop to Cloverdale but would make progress on my car... After another six months past and very little progress on my car I filled a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair. I got my car out of there and took him to court along with the findings from the Bureau of automotive repair. I won a court judgment against Chris his wife and West Coast Auto Craft for $7500. I am still trying to get the money they owe me. I am one among many, many people they have ripped off. I am a victim of this guy too, I am reading posts and I am so sad for everyone. I met Chris at the Pleasanton Good Guys show 2013. He was very friendly to my wife and I, he talked up a great story, super nice, knowledgeable agreeable etc. we felt like this was such a great guy and he gets what we are trying to do, then the misery started. At first it was just minor stuff, I should have listened more carefully to the auto parts store owner who was trying to give me a hint but I was too anxious and trusting at the time. All of the delays and problems keep escalating and escalating, I thought this was just my nightmare and bad luck. It was a 31/2 year battle with the guy to get my car back from him after paying for everything plus more..... For all this time, I thought it was just my misfortune and mostly my fault for not being more diligent, not being close by, inexperience however now I see what has happened to others I'm frankly understanding what a horrible person this guy is. The whole family seems to be involved with it too if I am understanding it all correctly. BTW.... Chris said that Todd, his go to guy in the shop, is his son, Pamela, Chris said they were married, did upholstery work at the shop. They both accompanied him to the Pleasanton Good Guys shows in 2012 and 2013, all had to be in on this situation. My project was a 1959 Triumph, my dad's, he was the original owner and I rode home with him from the dealership. When I met Chris and Pamela I was over the top with organizing everything including the meticulous packaging and labeling and organization of the parts, diagrams on assembly methods history of the car etc. Finally, I did get the car back first after 3 years of verbal fighting with Chris, discussions with Todd and numerous trips to his shop. It was confrontation after confrontation. Then he took it back to correct stuff I wanted repaired which took more time, I have detailed notes, pictures, emails and text notes of the horrible discussions that took place during the course of the restoration bodywork. . Chris took money from me but was not doing any work on my car. He lost all of the parts I gave to him, took my dad's classic tool box and all of the parts catalogs assembly instructions everything I provided to him are gone. The work on my car is terrible and has to be redone. Not just the body work, lots of other work I had completed as a part of the frame off restoration I was completing. I have a long list of things that were done incorrectly, my completely rebuilt engine was full of water, all the refinished work done to the wheels, brakes and chassis were rusted, new radiator was dented there's just so much wrong.
