What a terrific. Company . This company was suggested by the insurance company of the party that caused the accident so usually you figure you are going to get some shady company trying to save their insured a few bucks turned out this company is stellar even better than the company my insurance suggested. They are information cooperative excellent communicators but what makes them stand out they go the extra mile . Mercedes could not look at my car for 3 weeks so Ben had a company he knows inspect for the damage that saved me considerable stress and time . Then they went and picked up the tire lock from American tire where 3 months ago they fixed a flat but forgot to give me back the tire key. They amazingly still had it another great company and then they even offered to pick me up and take me back to my home I am disabled . There isn't enough stars in the universe to rate this company . If I Can give this Shop negative stars I would definitely do it.! Aside from keeping my truck for over 11 months without doors outside. They picked up my truck from my house in January. Months past by no improvement. My insurance company sent the checks right away weeks after to get my truck fixed. Their excuse was there parts are no in yet! Months after the owner Mark Davis came to an agreement to rent me a car. I had the rental for about 2 months turned it in. Thinking the total was payed off. 2000 total owed now, it messed up my credit.! Now Mark Davis does not answer my messages.! Please guys do not go to this shop.!!!!! Very bad. Farmers told me to take my car here for repair after a minor collision. I took my car here on April 15th. It has been there for 84 days. Every time I call to get an update, it's one excuse after another. One person will tell me my bumper is getting painted, someone else will tell me it hasn't been ordered. The previous manager was doing some sketchy things that someone rode had to take over and explained everything. I'm warning anyone who reads this it'll be a long one. I was involved in a fender bender August 1, this place was my insurances preferred repair shop. First big mistake I made is feeling comfortable using them because of this. They took my car in August 26, my first bad experience was when Gino told me my car would be 100% ready for me to pick up and when I got there it was still being painted. Even after he told me another day it was for sure to be picked up and I called and it still wasn't ready. When I first picked up my car after it being in the shop for about three weeks first thing I noticed was the color wasn't even right. Gino, said that's how some come out the lot and some of them don't always match. I was not having it. I made him take it back in and fix it. I picked it up the next day like he said and nothing changed. Now he's saying thats something the insurance didn't cover in the initial estimate. Didn't make sense whatsoever since first he was saying something totally different and why wouldn't they cover a color match to my vehicle?? When I got in my car to leave I had a service light on stating my tail lights were out. I called him over and asked him to look he had to take it to the back and fix it. My guess is they didn't even connect the tail lights! After having my car back for a day or so I noticed my trunk wasn't even aligned! I had to take it back to him and make him fix his work. He supposedly fixed it I saw it looked right, Until I started closing it and it would pop back up on me. I started now noticing it scratch the paint too. I took it back to them and now they're saying they're needing a part to fix that so it doesn't do that anymore?? Now I've spoken with Mary, She was supposed to take over and start helping me with the situation since she realized Gino was just lying about everything that was happening and not fixing a damn thing. Me, not trusting the shop whatsoever at this point took my car to my dealership so they can look at the work and see what is really happening. They start noticing the whole trunk and bumper wasn't even aligned right, and the damages were still there from the initial accident. They also reviewed the paperwork of what the insurance paid them for and they said they didn't even fix all the work they said they did. After me telling them it was this shop they were not surprised whatsoever and even said they don't even sell parts to them anymore because they have so many issues with them. Now that I have dealt with them for that long in and out of the shop since then, my wonderful dealership has taken over and is dealing with this horrible place and they're going to make sure this is fixed handled properly now. From what I have been told now by insurance is that it that they have now turned it into a investigation with BAR (bureau of automobile repair) since repairs were paid for but not complete. Please do not take your vehicle here, it has cost me so much time and energy that I wouldn't want anyone to have this bad of an experience. read more

Unless u have money to get a rental for 5months + I wouldn't go here worst auto shop in the world ! They take a very long time and they don't have enough workers they say they would update you they never do. I called and emailed and no answer back not only did they take forever but my car has a small scratch that was not there in the beginning I still have the picture from the first adjuster and then when I took my car home my car sounded like it was cracking the owner had the audacity to say it wasn't his problem 1 day after he had my car for 4 months when we went back he stated it was my axel and then I go to a different shop turns out it was a clip missing and they still charged my insurance for something that was not completed super unprofessional! They put my vehicle last as I was going through a death in my family I missed my brothers funeral and his birthday memorial so they removed my deductible but I would have rather paid the deductible rather than to have missed my brothers funeral ! Sticking to fix auto ! None the less the front desk girl kept me cool and calm through it all thank u Karla it was a hard time for me and ur sweet personality kept me calm and sane u deserve a better company to work for. A few months ago I was in a terrible accident. My whole front of my car was smashed in. My insurance led me to West Coast Auto Collision. It was the best idea and choice ever made! I got my car back and it drove and looked like the brand new car it was. They were very understanding, and treated me so kind! They treated me like I was part of their West Coast Family. I had a second accident, they were the first people I thought of when it happened. This place is horrible. At first I was very happy with how friendly they were but I quickly realized how unprofessional they really are. I took my vehicle in May 25th they told me it would take 6 weeks to repair. I was understanding and patient but when I called to check what was going on 7 weeks later I was told the vehicle was still not ready and that they were going to paint it that week and would be ready the next week. I call again the next Friday because they do not call to update and was told again that the vehicle wasn't ready and that it would be another week because they were painting it. Now keep in mind i was already told this the week prior. I decided not to make a big deal because i didn't want them taking it out on my car and causing it more damage on purpose. I call again the next week on Friday and again am told the vehicle is not ready and that maybe it would be ready Monday. This went on for two more weeks until they realized I was getting more and more angry. I got the car back finally and the paint is chipped on the side that had no damage, the body was falling apart on the side that wasn't damaged, my top was put on incorrectly so i cant see back anymore, theres loose parts rattling inside the cars body that i cant find, the ride use to be so smooth in this car and now it shakes violently at high speeds, car is overheating now, interior parts were left loose and falling off, the new tire i was supposed to get has a large slice in it. I took my Dodge Ram 1500 to West Coast 9/2016. Upon entering the office, I found a clean neat office. I was welcomed by office staff. They got a appraiser to take a look at the damage. They quoted me a very fair price. I brought my vehicle back a couple days later. West Coast had it ready in 2 days as promised. The work was outstanding. The owner Mark came out to make sure I was happy. From start to finish West Coast is Top Notch. I hope I never need auto body work again. But if I do, West Coast is where I'm going. If only a zero star rating existed... They had my car for about 3 months to fix damage from a rock going through my window. 3 months for a rock!!! Replacements needed: 1) Driver's Window 2) Steering Wheel (The inner part where the vehicle logo is and the outer ring you hold onto when steering) 3) Inner door panel on the driver's side First, they didn't replace the inner portion of the steering wheel claiming I didn't use the right term to describe the part during the estimation phase. I pointed to the damage, the estimator took note, but still didn't fix it. Based on the explanation for why the repair wasn't completed, when your car is damaged, you automatically are supposed to become a professional vehicle damage estimator and know the correct terminology for every single part within the car that you may need fixed. They kept the car another insanely long period of time to fix what they were supposed to originally. Went to pick up the car again and give a better inspection. 1) They damaged my door lock and door handle on the outside in an attempt to pry it off when replacing the window and attaching the inner door panel. 2) They damaged the actual mechanics within the door lock making it nearly impossible to close, open, and lock the door (the car was only 1 year old and worked perfectly when it went in). If I had needed to escape my car quickly in an emergency, I would have been locked in due to their negligence and damage to my car. 3) They didn't connect the speakers in the door when they replaced the inner door panel. 4) They didn't re-program the windows to roll down with one button push as they always did. Their response? "How are we supposed to know there is a computer in there?" Well, West Coast Auto Collision, THAT WOULD BE YOUR EFFING JOB TO KNOW THAT SORT OF THING. 5) There was still glass all over the inside of the car. 6) They damaged my turbo boost gauge mounted to the steering column. I did. I contacted my insurance company who ended up agreeing to me paying a $0 deductible because of how horribly unprofessional West Coast Collision was, and also informed us they would pursue legal action against the shop. I ended up having to take the car to another collision shop to fix what West Coast Collision had damaged, costing my insurance company even more and leaving me without a car for even longer. This place is horrible beyond belief. Avoid at all costs. If your insurance company recommends this place, ask if you can take your vehicle somewhere else. ***UPDATE*** as of 3/28/12 I noticed in the filtered reviews that an employee has claimed they never worked on my car. Too bad they can't acknowledge an issue and resolve it rather than brushing me off as a liar. This place is awful and I just don't want to see anyone ripped off like I was. ***UPDATE*** as of 8/9/12 Bob of West Coast has replied below stating again that I was never a customer. Bob, you have to realize, before calling someone a liar, that you'd have to determine a motive for them to lie. Other Yelpers looking at your page and my review are going to realize that I have no motive to leave a bad review unless my experience with you was terrible. Here's a protip- when a customer has an issue, do your best to resolve it rather than calling them a liar. You're digging yourself into a hole you're not going to be able to exit. Seems this review is upsetting West Coast. Here's the text of a harassing message sent to me via Yelp by an employee/affiliate via of West Coast Auto Collision on 8/3/12: "Wow I think it's you just must be board with life. If you have to keep posting on this site. For one who would leave their car at a place that long. It's a long one...... I got into minor car accident and my insurance company recommended me to west coast collision. I turned my car in January 15, 2020 and it is February 5,2020 they told me my car would be ready on February 7, 2020 they said they received the parts for my car and was already working on the car ,but when I called the other day to see if my car would be ready when they said it was they tell me my parts haven't even been ordered nor have they started working on my car they broke my car down but haven't even worked on it then they lied to me about my car and when it was going to be fixed. So as if that wasn't bad enough they tell me they won't be calling to order the parts until Monday or Tuesday of next week so that means I have been without a car for a whole month. There customer service is horrible they are very nonchalant about wanting to help anyone with there complaints and needs. On top of that they never even called me to inform me my car wouldn't be ready on Friday, so if I wouldn't have called the other day I would have thought my car was ready for pick up on Friday. brought my car by recomendation of my insurance company after having my car for six weeks for front end damage repair their were signs that the car was not the same after a while i started to notice things like the battery would drain rapidly there were clunking noises the hood didnt line up the lights would only work if they were set to bright the ac doesnt work as well and theres just some visible abnormalities i took it back and it was under new management they said they would fix it for me they had it less then two weeks provided a rental and were very nice the new manager very very nice got the car back and was pleased with what it looked like had been fixed after driving for a few days i found that the lights still didnt work right the sensors no longer worked the battery drained the ac didnt work the fan was banging against the radiator the car doesnt shift right the motor jerks when i start ot ultimately the ac shop after paying 1900 dollars that the body shop glued parts together which we had to replace and that there were far more issues with motor mounts and numerous other issues all directly caused form bad repair work by west coast collision so while they were nice enough my three year old car is now a total loss and they say i waited too long to inform them but i feel like i took it to you twice and you screwed me both times so sad read more
