I went here for a cup of tea and my friend a cappuccino.
Selection
Good, solid basics, cake, tea, coffee paninis ans beer wines and spirits, doubled up as a bar.
The tea was served in a nice China cup, and served with more water, but the hot water was cold by the time I needed to use it. Thr coffee also looked delightful.I was impressed with the fact I didn't have to drink my tea out of a coffee mug.
Service
Spot on, my friends kid pulled the curtains off accidently and the lady was straight in there checking she was ok, not worries about curtains, when I tried to fix it she stopped me and took over. The gentleman behind the bar was also knowledgeable and helpful.
Atmosphere.
I found this place coming to the end of the coastal path, we had to lift up the pram over the steps and my friends buggy was pebble friendly. The view wasn't pf the coast it was of the caravan park, and it was half cafe, half pub, very casual, friendly, but rather plesant. The seating outside was spot on.
Summary. Friendly, family friendly, tea and coffee shop, basic but expected, no frills read more
