After my recent eye exam, I allowed the new to adjust. To add, I'm really new at needing glasses all the time, so I need to be 'led' on what to look for in a proper adjustment. The mature woman assisted me. They weren't right. I returned. 2X. The mature gentleman helped me on the third visit. He saw them and made a comment about how improperly they were adjusted. I didn't have the heart to tell him it was his coworker. Online reviews can be so beastly, and I don't like leaving one like this. Honestly, I gave them three tries with no satisfaction. It's a shame really because the other two who worked here were fantastic. I won't be back unless I hear they've returned.

I was full of fear because I needed to see and I was on vacation and not able to get to the place where I had bought them. He did say they were probably under warranty and gave me a temporary temple. Only problem was that I was out $168. for new different temples and when I got home my glasses place ordered the hinge and it came within 4 days at a cost of $45 which I wasn't charge because of the warranty. Very strange

Over the last 3 years I have been a patient in the Delta location. I have spent more than fair…read moreshare on glasses, sunglasses and computer glasses. I recently purchased a new pair of computer glasses ($550.00). I had my wife pick them up for me. While she was there she asked if they would please adjust her sunglasses. She was told no, because she wasn't a ustomer and didn't buy them here. Well, she didn't buy them from San Juan Eye Center in Delta and I won't ever darken their door again! Hoping the owner reads this and discovers the terrible Customer service offered in the Delta office. Really like Dr. Condon but I won't be back!

If I could give a Zero I would. I saw the Dr. Hadlock for progressives last year. When picking…read morethem up and wearing them, it was clear to me they weren't working and I couldn't see properly. The office refused to let me see the doc with the glasses and instead encouraged me to buy yet another pair of glasses. Insisting that I wasn't used to them or that I wasn't using them properly. Wearing the progressives, my depth perception was so far off that I fell down and could not safefly drive a car. I spent over $1000 in these glasses. They remade the progressives into distance only and I still could not see. And for the last year they sat in a drawer unable to be used and they refused to refund me or let me see the doc. When I finally saw my long time doctor, he examined me and said that Dr. Hadlocks RX way overcorrected a stigmatism and of course, I would have problems. I spoke with Caitlin Neal who said that they couldn't do anything about it but when I told her I was going to write a review got the doc to agree to make another pair with the right RX. however, she failed to state it had to be the Jimmy Choos (which apparently they do in house) & I sent back my sunglasses to be remade. Before doing so I contacted the office and Caitlin was out and the person I spoke with said they could do either pair. OK - then I get a call from Caitlin telling me they wouldn't and mailed back the bad glasses refusing to remake them and verified with the women in office told me the wrong thing and she even told me. So, they make yet another mistake and i'm out glasses, $1k, plus the shipping fees and all the aggravation over the past year. This office is AWFUL and is not concerned whatsoever about the customer or their reputation.

If you're interested in getting told "oh well" when you notice an error in your prescription a week…read moreafter receiving your glasses, then this is the perfect place to go. I purchased my glasses in September 2016, and they arrived within 10 days (not bad). They were also way better than my previous pair, which had yellowed, foggy lenses, which is probably why I didn't notice that my new pair had numbers and letters and dots etched into the middle of my line of vision until about a week or so of wearing them. At first, like any reasonable person, I assumed the slight blur was a smug or dust. So, I took my cleaning towelette and wiped, but when that didn't help I removed my glasses and saw dots and the letters "SVHD" lasered directly into both lenses. I took them back to the clinic expecting them to say, "oops, we gave you the mock up pair. We'll correct this right away." Instead, I get told "There's letters and numbers embedded in all the lenses." I look at her incredulously, "I've never had glasses with something written on the lenses and that's a pretty stupid thing to do when people need to look directly out of them. How do they expect people to see?" The associate shrugs and hands them back to me, dismissing my problem entirely. Fast forward to me discovering (today) that not all lenses have this etching. (In September, there was no one I knew personally that had purchased glasses that month or soon enough for me to compair lenses with.) I march back into the clinic, ready to demand either new glasses or a full refund. A different associate, Gilbert, helps me. HERE'S THE PART THAT PISSES ME OFF! He H.E.L.P.S. M.E. He greets me and I say, "I don't remember when I bought these, but I came in a week later about some letter and numbers in my lenses and was told there was nothing that could be done. I GET that. I know there's nothing you can do, but I literally can't take this anymore. I can't keep staring at them everytime I look at something, it's been giving me horrible headaches to try and focus past them. So something needs to be done." He says, "Okay, let's see what we can do." Now. At this point, obviously, I want to explode and scream about how I've been handicapped for almost a year now because the associate I spoke to before said my issue wasn't one and here you are ready to solve it in a heartbeat---but I don't scream at anyone....I remain calm and grateful that at least I didn't have to pull out the long speech I'd been practicing and demand my money back. I'm getting what I need. The issue will be handled. So I let him handle it. He tells me, "you're nearsighted, so things close up would be more noticable. I can understand how you'd see those etchings and I get that it could be bothersome. Let's see what we can do about it." HE JUST SWITCHES MANUFACTURERS! IT TAKES HIM 5 MINUTES TO CHANGE MY BRAND OF LENSE TO ONE WITHOUT LASER WRITING ON IT!!!! Oh...did I say that was the part that pisses me off? That I lived 9 months staring at a blurry SVHD when all I had to do was choose the day, 9 months ago that Gilbert was working and my problem would have been solved? Yeah. That did piss me off, but not as much as getting the phone call as I start my car saying, "Oh...actually, I'm not able to order those new glasses for you. You would have had to complained within 60 days of receiving them." "I did. I went in there ONE WEEK after receiving them and was told my problem was unsolvable and dismissed!" "Well...I'm sorry, but I'll get in trouble if I put in this order after warranty. You'll have to talk to the manager about this." It isn't Gilbert's fault. He gets 5 stars. THIS PLACE, however gets none. NONE FOR YOU GRETCHEN WEINERS!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe make sure Gilbert is the manager before buying any glasses here. Surely he'll eventually float to the top of the cesspool of incompetence this clinic is spewing out.
