The bakery (which is all we saw) was amazing with a fantastic variety of baked items for every taste. There was a good selection of coffee varieties and fortunately for me as a non coffee drinker, soft drinks. Back to my scone. I got the pineapple coconut flavor. The scone was unbelievably light and bursting with flavor. I only wish I had room for two or even three. We also got a salted caramel cookie which was just as fantastic. Ebels has a lot of comfortable seating to enjoy your treats. I only wish the best scone I've ever had wasn't 60+ miles away. .

Great food Nice customer service…read more Nice ambience I came across this gem in the rough in Mecosta Michigan but my next door neighbor. She told me she had ordered some food from there and I wanted something different bc I was tired of KFC chicken, and I had a strong urge for some barbecue chicken and ribs, so my neighbor gave me the telephone number to Woody's and I called, talked to the Rep of the store and scheduled a time of 5:00 pm pick up. I followed my neighbor to Woody's bc I wasn't sure where they were located on Main Street being a new resident of Mecosta, Mi. I was surprised when I opened up the bag and started on the Rib dinner. The ribs just fell off the bone and the barbecue chicken wings were simply delightful and smoky. Yes, I definitely recommend this hidden gem to anyone who wants down home comfort food. Thank You Cindy, my neighbor and Woody's. You both made my day. Gina

Samir is…read morethe kind of person you don't meet often anymore--warm, generous, and genuinely happy to share what he loves with you. Every time I walk in, he greets me like an old friend, offers tastes of whatever he's working on, and makes sure I leave with a smile. The chicken shawarma is a masterpiece--spiced perfectly so it's full of flavor without overpowering you. The baba ganoush? Hands down the best I've had anywhere in the country--smoky, creamy, and addictive. And the garlic sauce... I could eat it with just about anything. It's bright, bold, and absolutely unforgettable. I've eaten there and taken food to go, and it's always perfect. I honestly can't wait until the full restaurant opens, because if this is what Samir can do from his grocery kitchen, I can only imagine what's next.
