It is a sprawling, drive-in, open-air complex where almost anything short of nuclear waste can be recycled. There are a variety of industrial-sized bins with tops open at grade level into which materials can be dumped or tossed for recycling. As one would expect, the bins are material-specific, like one for glass, green trimmings, electronics, masonry, wood, and so forth. Certain materials such as paint need to be taken to a different area for acceptance.
The thing is, recycling grass cuttings cost 6 Euros today. WTF? Not only does the Wildeshausen resident pay for recycling, but the center itself is located about 15 minutes out of town. Yes, the Europeans are big on recycling, but it costs them.
