This is a garden centre with added extras! We started off at the farmer's market, before having a look around the garden centre. The garden centre itself isn't that large, but is well stocked. There is a small courtyards with shops - I bought some nice sausages in the butchers. There is a petting farm, but we didn't visit it this time. The best bit is the historic garden. We went through the maze, looked at the deer, went down into what I thought was an ice house, but was actually a bear pit. It's very beautiful, even in February read more

It does exactly what you'd expect and a bit more. There is the Garden Centre side with a good selection of plants, etc. There is also garden furniture and ornaments available. In additonal to these there are a number of other craft shops including a leatherworker and a deli. The site itself is not huge, so I would personally not recommend it a as place to go for a day out, maybe part of your and go on elsewhere. read more

Wentworth Garden centre has all the facilities of a normal garden centre plus the added advantage of being located on the edge of the Wentworth Woodhouse stately home estate. When you have finished your shopping you can gain access through a gate to wonderful hidden gardens and new replanted maze. The garden centre also regularly hosts Farmer markets and has many small leather and pottery shops located in the various outbuildings. The quaint village of Wentworth has several good pubs and is worth a visit particularly at Christmas time. read more

This place is so much more than a garden centre. It does sell alot of plants, ornaments for your garden, etc. although, to be honest, that's never why I've visited. They have a lovely farm, with pigs, sheep, birds, etc. and some great play areas within, including slides, little tractors, little cars, etc. for the little ones. The farm itself is an afternoon out and it only costs around £2. very good value. In addition, they have a pet & aquatic shop, some craft shops, an outdoor play area and a nice cafe. The only downside is that the cafe gets very busy and, therefore, you can end up waiting a long time. Would definitely recommend this place! read more

The garden centre is generally great, the shop farm and restaurant are all fabulous. Food and cakes are delicious, the breakfast felt a bit cheap in terms of ingredients but was hearty. Two things though will mean it never gets five stars from me... For such a 'posh' place it has cheap tiny napkins which the staff give out so you only get one each, never enough... And they don't do ice, so despite having a fridge the drinks are always not really cold... read more

I love this place, the park and the small shops and main shop are perfectly situated around the plants which spread for ages! Really good value too, a place to come and enjoy the plants, while the kids can go and look at the fish and the birds, or play in the park. And of course, no garden centre is complete without a nice cup of tea in the awesome café! read more

One of the best garden centres I've ever been to, you could spend practically whole day here! Lovely cafe for lunch or a snack, fab shop for ornaments, presents etc & great at Christmas for decorations. Great garden centre itself, plus little craft shops, a playground & a small zoo with farm animals. There's a farmer's market regularly at the end of the carpark. Good pet shop too with small animals & fish for sale. read more

My favourite garden centre. Very good products plus a cafe that puts many restaurants to shame. For the children there is a playground, a play farm and a pet centre. read more

We went to Wentworth today for the first time and we honestly had the best day out EVER. Santa was amazing so patient and did not rush us at all, it's well worth the money. We then went for lunch and had an amazing pie. The kids chicken nuggets were good enough for adults. The staff in all departments were so happy and friendly. Skating so much fun We will definitely be going back Thank you to all. read more

As a first time visitor to this garden centre. I was very disappointed, very slow service in the cafeteria, and the first time ever had to pay to walk round a water garden feature. We could not believe that we had to pay to see lot's of green algae in all the water features except 1. ( Only 4 water gardens) The design was good but the maintenance was really bad. None of the pools had fish in them, possibly would have died anyway with the green slime. Very, Very disappointed, the worst garden centre I have ever visited. read more

I love Wentworth Garden Centre, I normally go with the owners whose son is my friend. The Bothy is a very nice place, I highly recommend the croissant, it is very big and super tasty. Everything in there is at the perfect price! The service at The Pantry is unmatched. The Halloween and Christmas area is really cool, I love everything about the garden centre, it is perfect. read more
