BUT... it's €110+ (plus tip) for 30 minutes, and honestly, not worth doing more than once. Don't expect the movie moment - our gondolier was on his phone half the time, and others nearby were just chatting with each other. No singing, no stories, just a quiet (and pricey) cruise. Glad we did it once for the experience, but definitely a "check it off the list" kind of thing.

This is a MUST do in Venice!…read more I can't imagine going all the way to Venice and not riding the gondola. Although, we almost didn't have a choice due to the weather. The rain was coming down pretty hard and the gondolas weren't running when we first arrived in Venice. By the second day, the rain had stopped. It was still overcast. But I'm okay with that! As long as there's no rain! lol Really fun experience! This was my favorite thing in Venice. 10/10
