The drive through line here is always incredibly long because the service is very slow (expect to wait at least 10 minutes even if you are first in line - have waited 35+ minutes during lunch rush before). The last two times I've been here I got the complete wrong order and had to pull back around and wait in the very long line a SECOND time to get the food I paid for. I was hoping that it would improve over time but it seems to be getting worse. Horrible experience! Counter help was rude and all the staff looked like Wendy had just died. Drink service area dirty with food on the counters. One drink machine obviously needed some attention as the drink dispensed tasted terrible. No lids for the most common size drink. Counter help seemed annoyed when I asked for a lid. Noticed when I was getting my lid that it appeared they were preparing my order but the tray had dried food already on it. When I asked for another tray, the person hesitated then seemed annoyed to have to get a clean tray. The food was on the paper liner which is supposed to be an added level of protection from unclean trays. I live 5 minutes away from this location. The girl over the intercom had an attitude, and when I got my food, the entire thing was cold, as if it had been sitting there. The fries were cold and had an awful taste to them. I got a number 7 and they took off the bacon. I specifically told the girl I wanted the bacon. When I try to call there is no answer. Went through the drive through. Took 10 minutes before they took my order while I was at the ordering speaker. Ordered a taco salad. The chili for the salad was in a separate bag and they didn't fully close the chili container, the lid was just set on the container, not pushed down, so it spilled all over in the bag and then all over my car seat. I also ordered a bottled water which they were out of. By the time the chili spilled it was far away from Wendy's so decided to just eat the salad which I didn't because it was brown and smelled bad. Save yourself the disappointment and go to the one down the street on Broadway. Food is never warm or fresh.

This location needs some serious help at lunch, it gets really busy between 12-1, and additional staff is needed to ring in orders.

All of these bad reviews are so true. I made the mistake of not posting my review on this particular Wendy's a few months ago when I was hoping to get a good meal with Masks and Gloves on by the employees due to what is required because of Covid. Not only was the female that took my order extremely rude, so was the assistant manager working the window. In spite of their bad behavior I was going to pay for my meal and hope all was well with the food I ordered. Just as I was about to hand him my debit card I saw one of the staff (a make) that was cooking walk up behind him with no mask or gloves on at all. No mask even hanging around his neck. I told the manager that I no longer wanted the food and all of the reasons why. He got angry and bad mouthed me to that unmasked staff member as well as a female staff member who was standing nearby. She at least was wearing her mask. I do not understand why anyone would go to this Wendy's and why the health department hasn't been called in as well as Wendy's Corporation. I went through the drive thru the other night and there was a longish line, but knowing those things happen, I was fine with the wait. When I got up to the window, they told me it'd be a few minutes because they had to cook more fries. Not a problem. What was a problem was that while I'm sitting there, I can see into their area where the teenagers working that night are handling things. Some of them not wearing gloves while handling food, some of them with their masks only covering their mouths but not their noses, touching their masks and then handling food. I can also see half squeezed out chocolate bottles sitting open and dripping on the frosty machine. Worst of all, I see the manager walking around by the drive thru window WITHOUT a mask at all. She then counts cash from the register, touches her face, and then I see her touch the box of fries with her hands over all of the fries before putting them in my bag. The boy working went to hand me my bag and I said that I would actually like a refund because the manager had not washed her hand between counting the cash drawer and touching my food. Not to mention I had sat there for 20 minutes which seemed like a long time to wait for fries, but hey that's the least of their issue. He called her over and told her I wanted a refund. She leaned out the window and gave me a rude "excuse me?!" So I explained that she didn't wash her hands between counting money and handling food, and she angrily threw my bag of food in the trash. She did issue me a refund without argument. I was just so disgusted by what I saw. read more

This doesn't even deserve a star. -5 stars at best! The service at 4pm today, Sunday, was beyond deplorable. 20 minute wait in drive through for 6 cars should've been first clue. When we finally got to window the two women working were complaining about being busy. One kept saying we're not going to fucking make it. Meanwhile the other woman is texting while trying to get drinks together. It appeared it was more important for her to respond to texts then provide service. I'm not one to write bad reviews, but this place truly deserves it. My husband and I have been here probably 5 or 6 times, always saying, "let's give them one more chance". Today was it. They have messed up our order EVERY SINGLE TIME. The food is AWFUL, soggy, way too salty, and just plain old. The cherry tomatoes in my salad are squishy, the lettuce is wet. The texture of the lettuce on my chicken sandwich is the texture of steamed cabbage. The bread is dry. I could go on forever. Disgusting. And on top of terrible food, the customer service is horrible. My husband just went through the drive through and heard the employees talking smack about the customers. Unbelievable. This Wendy's is poorly managed. Wendy's on Broadway is much better. You may also want to check the one in Eastridge. Drive thru is always slow. No guarantee going in will be much better (it hasn't been for me historically). Most recently, I went to their drive thru at 9:00 the other night. No one else in line, nobody taking orders in or out. When we went to this location in highlands ranch on March 25 2019 it was horrible. They got the order wrong. We ordered a plain cheeseburger a double stack and nuggets. We got the plain burger and not a plain double stack even after specifically asking. It took 20 min for the first time and the workers were yelling and arguing with each other. Once was a year ago (so I thought maybe it would've gotten better at customer service by now) but tonight I ordered through DoorDash, and this Wendy's still managed to screw up my order. I ordered two burgers, two cookies, two frostys and two 6 pc nuggets. I received one burger, two 6 pc nuggets, 0 frosty's and 5 cookies. Like were the extra cookies supposed to make up for the lack of other costly things I paid for? Now I get it, I work in customer service-- retail, it's late and whoever was working probably wanted to get out of there, but god, I'm paying for something, I expect some decency. Whoever's working there, isn't doing their best, subpar at best, and they need to be retrained or fired, because I don't find this acceptable. Do not ever eat at this Wendy's. First off service was slow. Went inside to order because it should of been faster than the long drive thru line. The manager at the counter was not polite to the other manager telling him to help her because she was so damn slow! When I got my food I could tell right away that my fries looked bad I tasted one it was awful. So I asked for some new fries waited about 5-10 minutes for French fries. Next ones they gave me smelled Burnt. So I asked for new ones again, same thing. There was a bunch of burnt food in the oil and it was bad. Surprised I'm not sick right now. Honestly, I was impressed that they could get EVERY part of my order wrong. First, they gave me chicken nuggets meal (not ordered at all). Ordered and paid for full size taco salad and got a half after having to request the chips and the salsa. Ordered two plain cheeseburgers and got one with bacon and lettuce. Ordered one and got two fries, which were both fried in what seemed to be burned oil. Coke was watery. Ordered chocolate and got vanilla frosties, one not full. This location is incredibly poorly staffed. After spending 5 minutes in the drive thru Lane and still 5 cars aways from ordering, I decided to go in. The store at 3:30pm was a ghost town. Cashier acknowledge me, but was gathering drive thru orders. She girl moves at a glacial pace. There was an employee at the drive thru window, 2 cooks and a manager (looking busy). It's pretty clear that the inside cashier is not capable of multitasking. Second time I've encountered her and she's the same no matter how busy the store. This store has consistently provided poor service. When It first open in the area it was much better but now I can't go without having a substantial wait. The only time you can go in and get fast service is if you arrive at about 11:15 AM otherwise you're waiting. Today I went at 12:30 and about six people in line and we waited 20 minutes and the line did not move. There were cars wrapped around the building in the drive-through. This Wendy's has a great location but they just can't get the service. Secondly , The condiment station is always filthy, like it never gets cleaned up. Is dry catch up all over the counter.
