This is the ONLY location I ever have problems at. I will not be returning ever again. I came months ago and had the same problem I had today. I ordered a double stack and Dave's double. The meat is obviously different sizes when you compare the two. But this location gave me the same for the Dave's double and the double stack. This is the second time they have done this. The first time I visited this location, I was in love! The food was served with a bright smile and the workers seemed to be laughing amongst each other and having a great time. The environment was nice, and it wasn't a busy morning. Back then, I would have given this location a solid five stars. Shocking, for fast food. But the other day I visited, and saw the cold despondent stares of overworked staff that is now common place. I took a bit of time to order because I don't eat fast food much and had to review the menu. This didn't help. Customer service was lacking, but I won't be too harsh. I love this neighborhood Wendy's that is close to our home. Kids also love it when dropping them off after school to grab a quick meal and hang out with her friends. Update Just spoke to Armando (I guess the restaurant manager) who really didn't do a very good job handling my situation.... at all. Fran, who is above Armando, took over the conversation. She stated their internet was down in the middle of August until last week. So every order in that time frame is being charged now. I told her there was not any sign stating this. She didn't have an answer for me, she just repeated herself. When I asked how will they handle "internet down" in the future? Again, she just repeated herself but worded it different. We hung up. Then I realized, I forgot to ask why doesn't this location answer phone calls? Well, guess what? When I called back to Armandos direct line- nobody answered. Sent a text. Nothing. Yeah. Something is very fishy at this location. I'll drive another 3-8 miles to another place to eat. Last time I was charge at Wendy's was August 19.... I don't recall being there after that as co workers and I went to short stop. We were tired of Wendy's and now I'm sick of them. read more

First, the burger was yummy. But..the person who took the order was disrespectful, inattentive, rude and insincere. This past Thursday, around 2 PM, a petite, 30ish year old Hispanic employee, dressed with the Wendy's blue polos, took my order. She seemed inattentive. Stopped in today to get my normal southwest avocado salad full order. I was almost done eating it and I bit down on my right side and bit something hard. I spit it out and it was a small red piece of plastic. After eating that side of my mouth/teeth is very sore/ hurts. I called the Wendy's 3 times to let them know so nobody else gets hurt but it goes to voicemail. I left a voicemail but haven't heard back yet. This happened on 11/17/2020 at 10:25 am. Can't believe I am taking the time to write a review for Wendy's, but here goes. Don't go to this store! Horrible food. Comes out cold and missing ingredients. Went about 6 months ago and had bad experience but figured everyone has an off night. Went a month ago and similar. Went yesterday and ugh. Cold chicken sandwich (ate immediately so no delay on my side), cold fries, lettuce on sandwich was old and wilted. Literally expect just basic food when going to fast food but can't get that here. The employees do not wear masks. The sign on the door recommends them to the customer; but only one employee was wearing one. I paid for my food and thru it away going out the door. The employee's were very polite and the service was quick hence the second star. read more

This is the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. More than half of the time I go here (only because it's close by), something went wrong. Always something happening with the card reader, or they'll get my order wrong. And don't bother going in the evening, you'll sit there forever waiting for a bunch of teenagers horse playing with each other, and they'll do it in front of your face too. So waited 5 minutes and then she's like what can I get for you ? And then I told her that I want 2 Biggie Bags and then she's like one moment and then takes other 2 minutes I was like it's okay. And then she's like what drink and I told her I want a Fanta and then a sprite. And then I ask her what sauces does she have and she's like ketchup blah blah she was talking too fast that I couldn't even understand what she was saying anyway I was like do you still got the Ghost ranch she's likes ma'am but like with an attitude. Anyway I drive to the window and she's like what you have dr.pepper. She doesn't even said hi or anything and she's like okay I GOT IT with attitude again. And I was just thinking on my brain it seems like you don't got it boo . Anyways food was good shoutout to the kitchen people that do like their job :). I have given up on this Wendy's because of how often I get bad customer service AND cold food. Typically have to do the extra drive to the one on east anderson because at least their food is warm and at remotely fresh. Both locations are dirty and worn down looking. Clean and customer service is great. Food is average when saving a few bucks. Fast service.

My drive through experience frequently turns into that stereotypical scene where the guy taking my order is speaking in tongues, has an accent or is just grooving with a broken speaker. I just agree with him and hope for the best. And I look in the sack before heading home. I'm usually here to pick a burger and fries up for the teenager but sometimes, just sometimes....I order a frosty or a salad. And if I'm extremely hungry, I order the junior bacon cheese burger. Wendy's is probably the fastest fast food around. Do they read our minds before we get there? Scary. Or is the food sitting around waiting. Scarier. Or is it a bag of food someone ordered hours before and the order was wrong. Scariest. So, yes. It's a chain AND it's fast food. But convenience for a mother is necessity. Wendy's fries are ALWAYS cold from this location. I've been eating at this place for at least 10yrs since I live right down the street. Not only are they cold, but you consistently have to ask for ketchup. This is always a mystery to me. Do fast food restaurants really save that much money by not including ketchup with every order of fries? I know not everyone wants ketchup, but I'm guessing the majority do. I will say that they are always fast and efficient, if not friendly. You never have to worry about a long drive-through wait, even if the line of cars is out into the street. Even with the longest line you can get your order in about 5 minutes. I'd prob give them 3 stars, but I'm so tired of their food I can't make myself do it. read more

It's been ages since I visited any fast food chain. We went there for a quick dinner last night and boy was I impressed by this joint! It has wi-fi, 2 desktops for free internet access and 2 flat screen TV hanging on the wall. Kids these days are too lucky. Why am I writing a review of a Wendy's?? Well, because this one is a little bit special. In a kinda weird way that at first put me off but actually seems maybe charming, now. What am I talking about? When the lady at the drive thru hands you your food, as you are driving off, she inevitably chirps at you, "Have a nice day! See you tomorrow!" Now, the first time I heard this, I wondered, "Do you think I'm that much of a loser that I'm going to be back here tomorrow?" I mean, right now for me drive thru fast food burgers are an even mix of calories and shame when I get them. There was a time when it was a staple, but now it's a dirty little secret. If you're not there yet in life, just give it some time. And sure enough, "see you tomorrow" wasn't a fluke. She says it *every* time. (And I'm pretty sure it's the same person saying it each time, too. Um...not that I go very often or anything.) Supposedly (according to another yelper) there's an actual posted sign saying the same thing, but I haven't noticed it. So at first this bothered me. But now I enjoy it as just a weird quirky bit of character. And the one time I actually ate *inside* this particular Wendy's, I was really taken aback by how happy and pleasant all the staff were, not to mention how clean it was inside. Previous Wendy's I've known in my life tended to be somewhere just above Taco Bell on the surly/brain-dead employee scale. But the folks working here all seem happy, and they are polite, and intelligent. And clearly they are optimistic, and I like that in a food service professional. "See you tomorrow!" read more

I live right around the corner and this is my go to fast food place. (Mind you, I don't eat fast food often. If I do indulge its preferably Taco bell but Wendy's is a close second) I've been to other Wendy's (and have had some shitty experiences, but c'est la vie) but this location gets my order right 95% of the time. And if they don't (I usually check, just in case) they are more than happy to fix it. Mind you, I'm kind of a picky eater. Not to mention they, even when they are busy, seem to be super fast. And the manager is super nice. It's apparent in the quality and speed of service. I usually don't take the time to review fast food places, but this warrants a glowing review. read more

Piece of rubber glove in my salad. Ugh. Okay - so I hate that I had this experience b/c when I went to UT I lived on the Wendy's that is at the Union. Anyway . . . So I ordered a salad, and there was part of a rubber glove in it. And not a small part. (I won't say what it looked like at first.) It would have covered at least 3/4 of a man's finger. And this is the part that I don't get. Yes, I can see how you might accidentally cut your glove while cutting lettuce. But with a piece that big . . . I don't see how you couldn't tell that almost your whole finger is naked!!!!!!!!! At that point you search for the glove piece, or you throw that whole batch of lettuce away. This place has really dropped off the map in the last 6 months or so. Not sure if that is management change or ownership, or whatever. Good quality has dropped, much slower service. New drink machines are consistently out of many brands. Always new faces on front staff, and back seems really sparse staffed. I think I'm done here. Waited 15+ minues just to place my order inside during lunch rush while new employee who didn't know menu fumbled around taking orders. Most orders that came out were wrong or incomplete.
