Worst experience ever, avoid at all costs. Took our antique standing cuckoo clock in for repair on…read more3 Sept. 16. We were told they would look at it, call us with an estimate and then fix it, it would only take a couple of months. 3 Months went by, no call. I called them and they said it would be fixed in 2 week and they would call me. One month, no call. I called them again, the parts were late getting there, it would be fixed in 2 weeks. This happened every month until 9 Sept 17, when we picked our clock up unfixed! Worse, it never left the counter. We visited Nuremberg Many times during the year and the clock was always in the same place on the counter, it never moved. They were using it as a display piece for their shop and had not even bothered to look at it for repair! They should have paid me rent to display my clock that they had no intention of fixing. At best they are lazy and dishonest, at worst, they are criminals scamming people for free displays to attract customers. I would not recommend them under any circumstance.

This happened when I looking for wood craft souvenir, and an old lady in this shop (I assume the owner) came by and told me in cold tone: "These stuff are made in Germany by hand, unlike those lousy products crafted by machine from your country". But did she knows where did I came from? This is an absurd attitude and considered racist! I'm not sure if they are trying to reflect German culture or unique Bavarian culture to tourists. I'm urging the International community/tourists shall boycott this shop. Message to the owner: If you don't like to serve foreigners, just close the shop for good! Then your problem be solved!
