On the plus side, you can probably find what you need there - at either end of the spectrum, without breaking the bank. On the minus side, they don't have a ton of elegant, high-quality costumes - many are better-than-Halloween-store quality, but not by much. It's a little like the Tardis - it goes back deeper than it seems. Service is quite nice and rather German - at first a bit curt (whether you can go behind counters) and sporadically superattentive until they're on break. But they're very sweet and helpful and affordable and overall, a good choice in a city without a lot of good choices.

Deko Behrendt is a true treasure trove for all your party and costume needs. From decorations to…read morecostumes, accessories, fake beards and wigs (no lace-fronts though) to make-up, contact lenses and false lashes, you'll find everything here, and the staff are very knowledgeable. The only caveat is that this place does not accept ANY returns whatsoever, even in their original packaging and with receipt, so BEWARE!
