Working with Kevin was an awesome experience, he's super personable and is really passionate about what he does! He never tried steering me in any direction for the engagement ring, and even had 5 diamonds shipped overnight for me to choose from. Just picked it up from him last week and it was exactly what I was looking for! I can't recommend Kevin enough, we will definitely be looking to make another appointment when it's time to pick out our wedding bands! read more

Kevin is my diamond guy. He worked hard to get me the perfect diamond for my price range and parameters. He was way better to work with than anyone else I talked to and provided way more quality information than anything online. Take some time to learn the 4Cs and all of that, then go talk to Kevin. You tell him what you need, he'll hook you up. read more

Absolutely in love with my engagement ring! A few months before the proposal, my boyfriend and I met with Kevin to get an idea of what I even wanted (let's be honest, there are way too many options!) Kevin was so informative, knowledgeable and helpful. He helped me figure out what I wanted (was never once pushy while trying to make my decision) and when I got the ring it is exactly what we wanted (even better than I ever imagined). Such attention to detail and the quality is superior! I'm so thrilled that we went with Welsh International. It could have not been a better experience from start to finish. Kevin will work with you in determining the best fit for you in your budget. Overall great experience and we will being using Kevin for all of our future diamond purchases read more

Kevin is trustworthy and passionate about what he does - he has been a pleasure to work with! I decided to go with him for my wife's engagement & wedding rings after comparing to 4 other jewelers in the area. He has a very personalized approach to the diamond buying process and is a straight shooter. I came in looking for something very specific and he made it happen - other jewelers tried to steer me to something similar instead. Not only did he find exactly what I was looking for, but he ordered 5 comparable diamonds to present me with a full range of options so that I could be sure about my purchase. I never felt pressured or upsold along the way - he was patient and unbiased through and through. Two years later, he's still a phone call away. We stopped in to have the rings tightened & cleaned over the holidays and he got them looking better than ever. Highly recommend! read more

My fiancé bought my engagement ring from Welsh. Kevin explained the basics about diamonds to my fiancé and helped him pick out the perfect stone. I was very pleasantly surprised by how much diamond he got within his budget. I went in last week to get my ring resized and his jeweler was very helpful and patient in determining my right size. I picked up my ring yesterday and was happily surprised by how brilliant my ring was. It fit perfectly and they made it look new again. Kevin gave me a complimentary ring cleaner & I left very pleased. Kevin knows his clients by name and remembers the jewelry he and his jeweler made for them. The experience that I had at Welsh was outstanding. Kevin and his jeweler were excellent to work with. My fiancé and I love will definitely be back to buy our wedding bands from Welsh International. read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about Kevin! I had an exact setting that I wanted in mind for my engagement ring. I was disappointed several times when jewelers tried to sell me a setting that was similar but not exactly what I wanted. When I met Kevin, he assured me he could custom-make exactly what I wanted. I left very excited but still a little anxious about it being perfect, but good thing Kevin is a perfectionist! The ring is absolutely perfect and even better than I imagined! It was also an amazing feeling to work with someone who I know truly wanted me to be happy with the finished product. Absolutely go to Kevin, you will not be disappointed!! read more

Love this place. So attentive to my wishes and likes and was very pleased at the results of my purchase and will return when I decide to buy more. The man knows his business and what you dream of can be a reality. I was unsure of what type of signet ring and he showed me several examples and after looking at all the possibilities I chose one that is unique and fabulous. He took his time and I never felt rushed. Definitely a positive experience read more

I bought my fiancé's engagement ring from Kevin & was amazed by the difference in the buying experience vs the other places I had visited. Kevin was friendly, personal, and straightforward. I have no doubts that I got the very best value for my money, and my fiancé was delighted by her ring. Kevin listens to his clients, understands what's important to you, and then finds you a stone and designs a ring that meets your specific needs & circumstances. There's no pressure to "upsell" you beyond what you can afford, and if you aren't familiar with all of the jeweler "lingo", he explains it so you know what you're getting. And if it turns out you need something changed after making your initial decision, he & his jeweler are flexible and accommodating. I was impressed and very happy with the service I received at Welsh International. We'll definitely be back in the future! read more

Kevin was fantastic! We set an appointment he was on time. He took a ring my fiancee's mother gave me that was given her by her husband who passed away and put the stone in a beautiful setting that allowed the stone to really be the center of attention. Then on top of that in order to keep the old band, he put a sapphire in it after changes the prongs to platinum. HE did that second portion as a gift to me and it really made the entire experience worth it. This is a man who knows how to make jewelry and do it with class. read more

Great experience and personal service working with Kevin at Welsh International. I have walked in and right back out of the big box jewelry stores feeling more like I was being spoken to by a used car salesman. If you want genuine service from an expert, make an appointment to see Kevin. I am glad to have found him. P.S. if you are looking for a Benchmark Forge ring, he has access to their full line and is very helpful. read more

My husband purchased my engagement band 20 years ago. The quality of my ring, the service and Kevin's engaging smile has brought us back over the years. He's the best jeweler in Maryland hands down. I told my daughter that having a good jeweler is like having a good doctor. Trust is paramount and at Welsh International you can trust Kevin to provide you with excellent, one of a kind gorgeous jewelry! read more

Welsh International has been in the business for over 28 years. I've shopped online and at the chain jewelers, and I have to say, what Welsh offers are things you may not see worn by other people (can make custom jewelry). While they have access to rings you can find in several catalogues, you could also use those as ideas for Welsh International to customize a ring for you. They have many different rings in stock. As far as variety, you will find everything from gold to platinum. As far as price, they are competitively priced, and in fact, offer better value than the chain stores. As far as service, before you get there, there will be several options he's laid out before you even get there that are within your budget. This by-appointment only service model is to give you personalized attention and takes some of the stress out of figuring out what you can afford. Sure does beat browsing the counters at other stores and asking, "How much does that cost?" "Do you have xyz in this price range?" It's just YOU in the room. No quotas he has to meet--the experience is all about you. Very personable and no pressure. While you look for that perfect ring, I only ask that you give this place a try in your search. You won't be sorry! Kevin's attention to detail is first-rate. He will do what he can to make sure you leave happy with the ring you purchased. Since getting my ring from here, I've had other family members come here for purchases. They too, were more than satisfied with the 5-star service. Thanks again for the amazing engagement ring, my fiancé gets tons of compliments! read more

I just bought my engagement ring from Kevin Welsh at Welsh International. Me and my now fiance are so happy with the ring. Kevin was fantastic at helping me through the process. Engagement ring shopping was something I know nothing about, and Kevin walked me through the process and was very thorough each step of the way. I really appreciated Kevin's emphasis on quality, and not just the size of the diamond. Kevin never pressured me to buy anything that didn't feel right, and was very respectful of my budget. I put a lot of trust in Kevin and it really paid off, because the ring was beautiful and my fiance loved it. I would highly recommend Kevin, especially if this is your first time buying expensive jewelry (like an engagement ring), he's going to work with you to make sure you get the highest quality product possible. read more

So my (now) fiancé and I moved to MD from NJ two years ago. My fiancé found out about Kevin and tricked me into coming in to do ring sizes and pick settings. (Little did I know he had already picked the same one) Kevin (the owner) made time to even meet with my fiancé's parents and pick out the ring. Kevin was amazing and I can't thank him enough. I now know where I'm getting all my jewelry from! read more

I bought my fiancee's engagement ring from Kevin. After having searched around at other jewelry stores and I can't say enough how glad I am that I waited to see what Welsh International had to offer. I came to Kevin for a very specific idea and he delivered in the best way possible. He worked with me to decide what exactly I was looking for and to turn my idea into a reality. He searched all the catalogs that he had for what I was describing and showed me some similar settings that I wasn't completely satisfied with so he decided to make a custom setting to get my idea perfect. He and his jeweler are perfectionists about appearance as well as durability. Finally, he was very candid about price and stayed well within the budget I gave him to work with. All in all: Kevin and his jeweler offer an extremely personalized service at an affordable price for the product with exceptional customer service. My fiancee and I were both extremely pleased with the end result. read more
