They want me to pick it up there and the car is not operable. They want me to cover a 800$ tow I had a car loan that I paid every month for almost 2 years with no missed payments. One day my car was towed by a towing company by mistake out of the front of my apartment. I went to a tow hearing and the judge ruled for immediate release of the car. When I went to pickup the car they told me First Tech picked up the car and it was in their possession. I called first tech and they're charging me 2000$ in fees and threatening to sell the car any day if I don't pay in full. This is 4 times the amount the impound yard was charging me originally. The repossession department is not budging and their priority seems to be to sell the car. The car is not even running and at most will sell for 500$ since it's not even running. I want to pay the car in full 10,000$ plus interest so it doesn't make any sense from a business perspective for them. They must be getting some kind of tax break from this for them to be willing to ruin a loyal customer. I am reopening my small business and was hoping I could create a long term relationship with this credit union but now I am at risk of losing my car because of an illegal tow and my credit.

We went in to the bank (on Louetta in Spring, TX) today with a scary banking issue. We were quickly greeted by O.L. Milan. She walked us through a simple solution to our problem, and explained to us what to do about this issue going forward. We left the bank so relieved! We felt safe again. At all times during our conversation she made us feel like valued as customers. Being older, we always come into the lobby and most of the staff recognize our faces. They are very inefficient and when there's a problem such as unblocking an account it may take more…read morethan a week for them to resolve. Their branch offices cannot resolve most matters except if you want to open an account or withdraw money. The only good thing I can say about their services is that their fees are not high but APR's are higher than some banks for mortgages or loans for cars even with good credit.
