Scott Pesch, who is the owner of Pacific Partners Real Estate on its commercial real estate side,…read morewas our realtor of choice to sell a church property for a congregation that had disbanded in McKinleyville. He was super easy to work with & very friendly. He was always on top of things and kept us informed in real time. He quickly secured two well-qualified buyers and skillfully and expertly helped us obtain an outcome with which we were very pleased. Scott also helped us find an organization to clear out the property which was a huge undertaking given our remote location from the property site. Church properties are unique and challenging to sell. But Scott made it all happen quickly and easily. I highly recommend Scott to you for whatever your real estate needs might be. I would absolutely never recommend a colleague or friend to rent from this company ONLY due to this man. Otherwise, I find many employees at this agency to be responsive and polite. This man has psychological issues and I am concerned that he is a huge liability for this company due to his inability to contain his emotional reactions.

I had just relocated to Humboldt for work, and Gardens Apts were just being built, and needing a place to live immediately reserved a unit (I'm 56) Overall, the neighbors are friendly; grounds are well kept and clean, and apartments are updated with desirable appliances and large closets. The location is very convienent, and apartment management has been responsive when needed. Negatives are lack of assigned parking spaces, there is one entrance and the parking spaces (non-assigned) are narrow and most of the residents are challenged with parking. Also due to Humboldt's lack of senior resources and housing, many of the residents are at fall risk, and there are frequent incidents of emergency medical visits to the community. Several have advanced dementia and health risks, in need of assisted living.

Here are the "pros" first: good location and access to parking, and the women who run the main office are responsive. The "cons": the walls in the units are so paper-thin, you will not get a good night's sleep. I could hear my neighbor snoring even while I wore ear plugs and had a white noise machine going at full blast. Eating was also a challenge as the smoke alarms in the unit go off constantly. You cannot even cook a frozen pizza in a spotless oven without the alarms going off. Most people want to sleep and eat in their apartment. These basic functions are impossible. If your pilot light goes off, expect to pay Kramer $50 to turn it back on. Or wait weeks for PG&E to fix it. To top it off, when I moved out, I hired a professional cleaning service, but Kramer charged me a $300 cleaning fee anyway. There was no way to counter that, even though my cleaning service took videos of a spotless apartment. Do yourself a favor and find another place. My new rental costs $100 more and does not have any of these problems; it is ten times bigger and includes a yard. Search a little more and you will find something much more functional and comfortable. Avoid Kramer if you can.

Zach Levich isn't just a real estate agent--he's a local hero in the Eureka and Arcata area,…read morecombining unparalleled expertise with a heartfelt commitment to his clients. From the moment we started working together, it was clear Zach isn't just selling properties; he's helping people find homes--places where memories are made, families grow, and dreams take root. Living in Humboldt County comes with its unique charm and challenges, from navigating coastal properties to understanding the nuances of rural and suburban markets. Zach's deep knowledge of the Eureka/Arcata region is staggering. He knows every hidden gem, from cozy cottages tucked under towering redwoods to modern homes with ocean views. His ability to pinpoint properties that align with a client's vision--while factoring in budget, location, and long-term value--is nothing short of wizardry. What truly sets Zach apart, though, is his genuine care for the people he works with. Buying or selling a home can be overwhelming, but Zach transforms the process into something stress-free and even enjoyable. He listens intently, communicates transparently, and advocates fiercely for his clients' best interests. Whether negotiating a tricky offer, explaining the quirks of Humboldt County zoning, or calming nerves during inspections, he handles it all with calm expertise and a refreshing sense of humor. I love his enthusiasm, too! Zach's dedication goes beyond the transaction. He's a pillar of the community, deeply connected to the heartbeat of Arcata and Eureka. Need a recommendation for a local contractor? He's got three. Curious about the best hiking trails or farmers' markets? He'll send you a curated list. His passion for this region is infectious, and he'll make you fall in love with the area all over again--or for the first time. For buyers, he's a trusted guide who'll tirelessly hunt for your perfect match, SERIOUSLY, even in a competitive landscape. He is awesome! And through it all, he remains patient, responsive, and refreshingly honest--no pushy sales tactics, just sincere partnership. In a world where real estate can feel transactional, Zach Levich reminds us it's deeply personal. He doesn't just close deals; he builds relationships. If you're looking for an agent who'll treat your journey as if it were their own, look no further. Zach is the gold standard of real estate professionals--5 stars don't do him justice.
