I thought…read morethe massage was pretty good (and went back for a few more) and was intrigued by the nutritional overview so I signed up for a weight loss plan. The plan was essentially to cut out all junk for 3 months. They also "encourage" you to purchase a lot of expensive supplements that they sell up front. I followed the plan and lost a lot of weight. Unfortunately, as I've incorporated all of the foods back into my diet I've gained back all the weight I lost (and then some), so I can't really speak for the success of the program. I've also had terrible experiences with the receptionist, Song. She's not very bright and takes offense when you correct her on anything, even if she's misspoken or miscalculated. The miscalculations were what got me. I spent weeks arguing a miscalculation with her, with no intervention from the rest of the staff until finally, Frank stepped in and the mistake was located (on their end, of course). Now, 3 months later, I'm still getting bills from them even though I sent a check months ago (and see it deducted from my April statement). I'll have to call my bank, find out who endorsed it and when, all because they/Song is unable to handle the accounting system. I'd say don't waste your time.

My husband has been going to Dr. Cortis for chiropractic work, as well as acupuncture treatments,…read moreon his lower back for some time. He was originally referred to Dr. Cortis by one of her existing patients after a trip abroad left my husband in agony with lower back pain. After a couple of visits, along with prescribed back exercise homework, my husband was good as new. He was so grateful that she was able to help him rid his lower back pain, that he's been raving about her practice since. As time would dictate; I was eventually in need of some acupuncture treatments for myself, and there was only one physician of which we both could think. Seeing as I was new to acupuncture, I initially went into Dr. Cortis' office a little scared and very anxious. That is, I didn't know that I was anxious, until I was on Dr. Cortis' chiropractor bed and was overcome with anxiety. Had it not been for her patient demeanor, I don't know if I could have ever completed my acupuncture treatments. Dr. Cortis was not only very professional and knowledgable, but she was also caring, gentle, and considerate with me. Dr. Cortis took her time during the acupuncture process to fully explain exactly what she was doing and the benefits which would follow. Not only did her demeanor help me to overcome my anxiety in the midst of my treatment that day, I have been able to return to Dr. Cortis for multiple treatments since then.

Dr. Amy Cortis was excalty what I needed and I strongly recommend her! I was having neck issues that I thought would just go away (I'm 25 and a starving artist and rarely go to doctors fearing the cost!) but this pain would not go away. I called my parents and they told me one of their friend's daughter was a chiropractor/acupuncturist in Chicago and very close to where I lived! How perfect right?! I gave her a call and the rest is history! Number one, and most important to me she was super affordable! She has a private office, so no annoying waiting room. Her office was clean and it was really nice not having to interact with anyone but her. I told her what was bothering me and she went to work. To be honest, I've always been pretty skeptical about acupuncture, and I still won't say it's my favorite, but I immediately felt better after the session. I don't know what else to say, it was all just so simple! I was very comfortable in her home and she must know what she's doing because now I go once a month and feel great!

I could barely walk. Dr. Domingo was not in the office at the time I came in for an appointment. Later that day, after discovering I was in so much pain, he called my home to check up on me. I have never once had a doctor call me at home to see how I was doing. I was very pleasantly surprised. Further, he has an adjustment method that provides a lot of relief with absolutely no pain. After two treatments from him, I was walking around with no problem. He is a holistic thinker and is always brainstorming ways to meet individual needs. I would recommend him to anyone. Then there's Rachel, the wonderful massage therapist!! I can no longer live WITHOUT my weekly massages from her. She has an endless number of techniques for all sorts of ailments.
