This store was awesome. The sales clerk helped me locate a coat for my very specific needs: a long winter jacket with a belt that looks good and will keep me warm. I ended up buying the beautiful Opium coat; I knew it was "the one" the moment I tried it on. Ordinarily I wouldn't spend this much on a garment (400€ is a lot for me), but this stunning winter coat has details AND quality. There are two interior pockets with zips and six exterior pockets with various types of closures (open, button, and zip). My cell phone (iPhone 7+) fits comfortably in 4 of the 6 pockets. The belt buckle is beautiful. And the brand insignia is also really attractive (i.e., not cheesy or tacky looking). I feel surprisingly elegant in this puffer! I'm not familiar with the Wellensteyn brand, but I knew I wanted to buy something different AND beautifully constructed to keep me warm during the coldest months. And I absolutely refuse to waste my money on North Face, Eddie Bauer, Michael Kors, or Canada Goose. All of my research pointed to Wellensteyn. And after visiting the Nürnberg location and seeing the wide array of products firsthand, I understand why. The quality is visible and palpable. The sales clerk was helpful and attentive without being pushy or up-selling me. And she definitely knows the brand. She didn't bat an eye when I gave her my long list of wants, and she promptly returned with the best possible coat based on what I'd asked for. She also speaks English fluently, so if you're a foreigner who is as inept at speaking German as I am, have no fear!
