Of course they offer great casseroles, and they're made fresh per your order. What amazes me is the sheer speed of serving these piping hot dishes. They must have some super duper convection ovens to bake these casseroles from scratch. We didn't try this this time, but they will make casseroles of any combination from the list of ingredients. That's just amazing to me. Not just their food is great, but the service here was wonderful. Our server was a very pleasant and friendly young lady. She explained to us that it's a family-owned restaurant since 1991. So, the food and service are great, but this restaurant also offers a very nice cozy interior with warm atmosphere and chic interior decorations. Overall excellent dining experience in a very unique setting. If you are in Würzburg, you must try this restaurant. I came across this hidden gem through reddit. This restaurant is nestled up on one of the side streets more in an alleyway. I ordered an aperol spritz as well as a full order of the Braised onion soup which had franconia onion sauce and delicious homemade potato balls *chefs kiss* my mother had the same but half the portion including the wine soup which she loved! Definitely wish I could've ordered more off the menu! The portions are very generous, loved the cozy ambiance and the unique charm this place had! So full of holiday cheer was it, that I do not believe you will find a place to sit without a reservation. Our server was a true pleasure as he was very friendly and attentive. The menu had many choices to accommodate most diets to include vegetarian. I look forward to returning in the future. The food was all fresh and very tasty. Make a reservation , as they are very busy. Very cozy, quaint place. I can see why it's my friend's favorite restaurant!
