Was lovely! Even the ugly Bochum (which i personally am in love with) looks great all dressed up for xmas. The market is decent sized and there are plenty of xmas food choices- sweet and sour, meat and vegetarian (also vegan if you'de eat a butterless hot baked potato). I particularly like the stalls that are put all over the city center. Look for the red ones to learn more about the history of Bochum and its' past Christmases. Also, watch out for the HUGE Santa right next to the central bus stop (believe me, you can't miss it). read more

Der Weihnachtsmarkt ist wirklich größer als man es erwartet. Es ist schön beleuchtet und gut aufgebaut. An jeder Ecke kann man was leckeres essen und Kleinigkeiten einkaufen. Der Mittelalterteil hat mir sehr gut gefallen und das Glühbier schmeckt auch hervorragend. read more
