Weigel's is always a sure win. Great food, drinks, and friendly service. You never know what all you might find at Weigel's.

Love stopping here on my way to work, for my daily caffeine fix. Great prices and the staff are very friendly. Clean inside.

This place isn't exactly a name brand grocery, but it's just as good. Sometimes, off brand, is just…read moreas good as on brand. If you live nearby like say, Allandale Falls, and you don't have the ability to drive, this grocery is within walking distance. As an add bonus, it's nearby some food establishments like Waffle House, Pizza Hut, and McDonalds. So you can get some lunch and some groceries. You'll quickly discover that a lot of food items here are the same items you'll find at the Walmart up the street but for a cheaper price. You might not be able get home appliances there like you can at Walmart, but it's still really helpful. Given how inflation is these days, food is expensive. Everything is expensive. But this store charges a fair and reasonable price for all of it's goods. Here's an example. For a small bottle of Milk, at Weigel's, you can expect to pay like $2. At Price Less Foods, for the same item, you'll pay under $1. I mean you can't make this stuff up. This place is deserving of more business. 5/5 stars. EDIT: For a place that claims to be hiring and has open interviews on Mondays, this place sure is selective who gets hired. So I decided to look into it for an inside scoop. I can thank my husband for this. A fellow employee of his work, has a friend who works at this store and thanks to them, I've gotten an inside scoop. First off, employees get paid a meager $9 an hour which isn't even close to cutting it for making livable wage. On top of that, the manger I'm being told is outright HOMOPHOBIC. Which would explain a lot. I know someone on a personal level who put in an app and over a month later it's been ignored. Not even a call back. That's discrimination which is ILLEGAL. That's a corporate call waiting to happen. Seriously, are you THAT bothered by Gay Relationship? You know I'm in a Gay Marriage. Do you have an issue with me? I was beyond offended when my insider provided me this intel. You could be doing so much better like working at the Arby's down the street for $11 an hour. Good people. Non toxic work environment unlike here. They claim to be "Your 5 star store" but if you check here, they ain't even close to "Five Stars". And a 1 star rating from me will bring them further away from it.

Despite my two star review I go here all the time because it's the closest gas station. Can't say…read moreI'm a fan. They sell gas, understandably prepaid, and one of the few places that's no-ethanol. (They're considerate about the whole pre-pay thing if you're filling up gas containers or something.) They run about 5 - 10 cents higher than gas stations on the highway, but given their location they're not unreasonable and they follow the cycles other gas stations do. I did notice that after I had a brake-fluid buying binge that when their stock ran out they raised the price. (So I stopped buying it there.) They have takeout food, and have a limited selection of convenience-store items. Quite personally I'd never eat here and I'm not a picky person. However, I'm influenced by my first experience when I got those packaged little donuts and they tasted like fuel. I go to M&M market across the street if I need a packaged snack. The kitchen area doesn't look appetizing. The cashier takes care of food orders, gas, lotto, etc. so service is a bit slow, but they seem to know all the regulars. The cashiers are not slow or lazy, and they're nice enough, they just have a lot to take care of. The station has an air (tire) machine which is 75 cents. They have an ATM in the store. They do not sell kerosene. (I believe the BP on Main St. in Church Hill does.) It's okay to stop at for gas and auto needs, but that's about all I'd stop there for.
