First and foremost, I would highly recommend using We Hire Mac' services. I decided to try out a MacBook Pro Retina for a week to see if I prefer it to the Windows operating system, which is what I currently use. After doing an online search I came across WeHireMac.com. Abraham answered all of my queries in a friendly, professional way, and the payment process ran smoothly. The MacBook Pro Retina was sent out to me by UPS Courier - Next Day Delivery, which enabled me to track it all the way using their website. I received the MacBook the very next day, and before 1pm. The MacBook Pro Retina itself I couldn't fault. When starting up the MacBook, it was back to the Factory Settings so it had nothing on it from the previous hirer of the device (if there was one) - it was basically like I had gone into an Apple Store and walked out with a professionally refurbished MacBook Pro Retina. Included was also a Charger. It's very simple to return what you have hired once you have finished with it. WeHireMac email you a UPS label to print out, which you simply attach to the parcel and drop it off at your nearest UPS Drop-Off Location. (WeHireMac tell you your nearest ones, or you can check yourself on the UPS website) - You also get the option for it to be collected from your home address or business, but I decided to use the drop-off service as then I wouldn't have to wait in for the courier to collect it. What's great about WeHireMac doing this is you don't have to pay again to send it back - the delivery fee is also the collection fee. I felt the pricing per week for what you get is set at a good price, I emailed a few companies in the UK who provide MacBooks for hire, and WeHireMac.com were the cheapest who provided such service. WeHireMac employees also don't rush you into getting anything from them, and their vast knowledge of anything Apple is very welcome. The other company's who had gotten back to me were seemingly only interested in my money, and would pressure me into handing over my contact details to rush through a sale. WeHireMac.com were patient with their advice and didn't pressure me into hiring anything from them. So to repeat from what I said at the beginning, I would highly recommend using the services of WeHireMac.com and have already been talking about this company with friends and family. I hired a MacBook Pro Retina because I've always used a Windows operating system and wanted to experience what the macOS is like. My intention was to hire the device for one week, but I ended up hiring it for a further week. Abraham was very accommodating with regards to me extending the hiring of the MacBook. This has made me fall in love with the macOS - it's so much faster and smoother than a Windows laptop, so I will definitely be investing in one in the near future, thanks to WeHireMac.com. My situation was a mint condition Macbook Pro 15" (Mid 2014) Retina laptop with a startup/charging problem, I wasn't able to diagnose this myself so I took a trip back to the Apple store initially to find out what they could do. To no avail Apple had already strained me with booking an appointment as I was having to wait for service for at least a week. My problem didn't seem that big at first, until I received an evaluation of the issue from a genius, who eventually told me there was traces of liquid damage on the logic board. I was told I must have the battery, logic board and complete top layer replaced. The price quoted was £973. 'Now I do not have this kind of money to spend on repairing my machine, seen as this quote was over two thirds of the price I bought the Macbook for...' My first reaction was to turn to We Hire Mac. I believed I could be helped for less here but more importantly what I came to find was that my machine was inspected in a more thorough manner, there were many areas of expertise which were outlined in my quote when I made the call. I was given an initial quote by We Hire Mac, to settle any confusion about what components may have been affected, Apple refused to speak about any sub categories relating to parts underneath the top layer, whereas at We Hire Mac the staff had insisted to get to the root of the issue. With good faith I travelled to the headquarters and handed in my machine, I was greeted and treated as a valued customer and my machine was reconstructed with all the labour mentioned from the quote on my phone call 'That is what I call a reliable repair solution'. We Hire Mac did not only successfully remove the liquid damage from an isolated area on the keypad, but managed to salvage the top cover, battery and motherboard as a whole unit to prevent me having to spend huge bucks. It feels good to know that what I paid good money for is still useable. I am now honouring the work that has been done by using this machine to produce my music again, I can't be happier and I have infinite gratitude towards the staff at We Hire Mac, and it is within my favour to recommend this company to any and all Apple product users experiencing similar problems with their laptops. read more
