Love Wegmans! We are vegetarians and they have many items for vegetarian/vegan lifestyles. The selection of the products they carry are great - my favorite areas are the bakery section and the olive bar. Food by the weight can get pricey though. Their produce items are wonderful and have organic choices as well. read more

First time going here, and I absolutely love it so far! Unfortunately, I did not get to explore the whole store but from what I was able to experience, everything was awesome. The neighborhood first off seems very nice. The produce is very fresh and nothing seems bad. I am a sweets lover and when I went to the baked goods section, my oh my! They even make fancy sweets/pastries and they're all topnotch! The sad part is that they were so expensive.. My brother took me to this store this past weekend. I've never seen anything like it. The place is huge and the prices are high. I have to agree with some people that the store is not arranged very well and the shoppers at this location seem to be in their own worlds. Out of the major grocery chains in the area, this is by far the best place to go. This store maintains a high standard in many areas, from variety of food and produce, to the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the store itself. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I got a fever and the only cure for it is more... Wegmans... It's as good as cowbell. It's Wegman's. Not much else needs to be said. But giving it a 1 star review because of customers, that's a low blow.... This grocery store kept me form moving to Charlotte. Again I have to take off a star for the Fairfax location. Every time I have gone here for the past year, they have not had what I wanted.I either had to leave without it, or try to find a substitute. Should be 10 stars this is a chefs dream. Local fresh produce, meats no GMO ' S fresh seafood, spices, everything you need. Hungry? They have hot food, sushi bar, pizza, subs, it's truly amazing. The deli has iberico ham, so so so many different baked goods makes you wanna cry. Nothing short of brilliance. Yes you pay a little more, but it's so worth it. read more

I love Wegmans! I'm glad they opened up a location in Alexandria, too. It is always crowded but there never seems to be a long wait for lines like at Walmart during the peak hours of grocery shopping. I love their hot bar, and convenience meals. Their sushi is pretty good and everything in the bakery looks delish. I usually also buy their fresh deli meat, and their chicken breasts are always $1.99/lb for you meal preppers out there. :) read more

First ever two story grocery store i've ever seen. By far the best wegmans in northern VA

This is not how I envisioned a food utopia. The salad bar was bare with little packets for dressing. The pizza was thin and ok. The place was big but bigger in this instance does not mean better. Perhaps this was the low rent district Wegmans. I will find another. read more

Love Wegmans! Employees are helpful and knowledgeable of all items in the store and even taught me how to tell when certain fruits like pomegranate are ripe for the pickings! They just need to make ample parking! read more

Come here often, but rarely need any special assistance. Clean store, good staff, well stocked. Today however I needed two out of the ordinary items, thinking that the answer would be no and would have to wait tomorrow. Michelle in produce is awesome! Very friendly and actually went to check to make sure the items I would be on the next shipment and when I wanted one item that they didn't have she came up with an alternative. One was how thankful I was for the staff for letting us use their garage when we had snow storm, second one was out of love for the food, the staff again and third time again the staff. Wegmans is awesome - great selection and more recently they have started offering more "club packs" to compete with BJ's and Costco. They have an awesome prepared foods section - although it may not be all that awesome if you try and get it within 45 minutes of closing. The wine department is large - and the staff is friendly. I do however, have some issues with the "alcohol policy" that requires me to show an ID when I am with someone else who is buying alcohol. The ABC doesn't require this, and I think its silly for grocery stores to require an ID from everyone in at the checkout counter.. read more

I LOOOOVE Wegmans. My husband went for V-Day and they were so nice to help him through a 4-course meal. All the way from the Cheese counter to the Bakery..and the Wine Shop downstairs recommended a bottle for each course. great store! one of my favorite places to get desert. their desert bar is stocked with great stuff. my favorites include the chocolate chip cookies, creme brulee, chocolate cream pie, doughnuts, muffins, and the triple berry pie. not to mention they are one of the few stores that i actually like the store brand ice cream(just the premium brand though). oh and probably the highlight is the chocolate cake. best i've ever had. of course there are other things to like about wegmans too. read more

It feels a little odd to rate a grocery store... but this place is simply incredible. They have Whole Foods quality foods without the Whole Foods price! And their prepared food section is huge! Where else can you find a 14" sub, for $8! The only complaint I have is the parking. It sucks. Getting in and out of that place just seems more difficult than it needs to be. read more

Wegmans has been slipping for the past year. The quality of the food in the cafes, the store experience, even the products themselves. I'm very skeptical of what's gonna happen when the wine moves to the main level, and taking the higher walls and lower ceiling out of the natural section seems peculiar and it really lost something. The last 3 loaves of Wegmans brand whole wheat bread I've bought have spoiled way too early as well. I hope they didn't self-proclaim dominance and slack off. With all that being said, most of the private label stuff is still pretty good, and it's difficult to find cheerwine in Northern Virginia. read more

Great store! Huge deli, seafood, bakery section. Found everthing I need and more. Could have spent all day in there.

I like the changes made since last year. The organic section is important to me. The sub sandwiches counter is great. I picked up 3 7 inch subs, the Wegmans assorted for me and my friends and its great value especially when on a busy day and in a hurry. I told the counter man to load it up with everything, and he really did! Great job! read more

I absolutely love Wegmans! And so does the rest of the world which is why it is always crazy crowded! Do not go during the weekday and you might manage to avoid the stay at home moms that take over the store. I now do my shopping after 8pm and so far it is working well for me. read more

Got through eating Christmas dinner for 8 to 10 traditional turkey dinner for 89.00. We barely dented the meal with 7 of eating. It was so yummy. I loved the gluten free turkey, gravy, and all the fixings. One could decide which sides to eat if wanting gluten free but others had the yeast rolls and bourbon vanilla sweet potatoes.
