This is a creative wordplay for sure, and the fake meat substitutes here were astoundingly good. The hummus kebab wrap came with baked "beef" seitan, along with fresh vegetables, a choice of sauce (I got the dill and spicy tomato), hummus, baba ghanoush, and marinated peppers, all wrapped in a thin pita bread and grilled to toasty perfection. The seitan had a spongy texture and came with a sweet and savory sauce, making for a super convincing meat substitute. But even better was the vegan pastrami, which were thin slices of seitan roasted with spices. I got this meat substitute as a burger, which was built on a large seeded bun, along with tons of fresh vegetables including lettuce, spinach, peppers, sprouts, pickles, and more. The vegetables were all fresh and crunchy, but the real star was the slices of seitan, which had an incredible smokey flavor and crispy texture.
