Rachel Li is a terrific lawyer. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable,…read moretough, effective, and compassionate advocate. I came to Rachel a couple of years ago and only wish she had been representing me all along. She helped me through a very tough legal process and salvaged my chances to have a positive relationship with my children. The mother of my children was engaged in a full out alienation campaign against me, fabricating allegations directed at both me and my extended family. For more than a decade, I watched judges say, "how could a mother make that up?" Rachel came to court extremely well-prepared. In her original appearance in my case, she won the first favorable judgement I had ever received. But it is not just in a courtroom that Rachel shines. In fact, that is the last resort. Rachel demonstrated an understanding of the law to the nth degree, stayed very focused on the best interests of the children, and fiercely represented my interests to co-parent them. She was able to offer terrific options for reunification counseling, outside reading to help me understand the factors in play, and a communication vehicle with the children's mother. Upon occasion, Rachel did not pull any punches with me and things I needed to work on as well. I appreciated her refreshing candor. Rachel's strength extends through the members of her team who are also very experienced and thorough. Her paralegal, Trechel, is particularly impressive. I felt confident that every detail of the case was noted and handled promptly and properly. Highly recommend.

I would never trust this law firm to do a trust/will. We recently needed to update our will and…read morewent to another law firm to get it done. During the review, we discovered that the trust/will that HAIMAN Hogue had done for us was completely overpriced and unnecessary. We were told that our current trust was 5x the complexity and pages that was needed for our needs. We were basically oversold and they definitely did not act in our best interest. Once we heard this, we felt it necessary to write this review. When Haiman Hogue did our original trust, they charged us a ridiculous amount of money according to our current attorney. When we went back to get the trust updated, they wanted to charge us another $3000 just to update it. On top of that, they wanted us to make an immediate down payment of $1,500 just to make an appointment three weeks out, since Rex was going on vacation. We stupidly made the payment and appointment. The next day we came to our senses and cancelled the appointment and had to argue with them to get our downpayment returned. It took them over a week to credit us back. Lastly, this attorney dressed very unprofessionally. His shirt was clearly dirty and worn out. Not sure how this firm stays in business. This firm deserves NO STARS!
