Food Hall 88 is part of a neighborhood revitalization project, and I have to say that this place is…read moregreat! The town has essentially taken a hanger that was part of a railroad yard and converted it into what many would consider foodie heaven.
Inside, you will find food kiosks setup throughout - each offering something different. There was Vietnamese food, seafood, ribs, french fries, sandwiches, hot dogs, a wine bar and a local micro-brewery that served up one of the best IPA's I have ever had. There was even a dessert kiosk where you could grab a cappuccino and a pastry after eating dinner.
Food Hall 88 was only open one week prior to my visit, but you would never have guessed that walking through it. Everything appeared to be operating smoothly and there was a pretty good turnout of people - word of this place has definitely hit the streets.
If you are in the mood to sample a lot of great food, this is your place. The portions are small enough that you can hit several vendors and the atmosphere here is really nice.
