He fixed the leaky pipe and filled back in the 4' deep hole. He worked that back hoe like it was his own second arm. Both before and after the dig, he was patient to take our calls after hours and talk us through our concerns. He explained how the pressure gauge should read. He double checked to make sure the leak was fixed and the tank was pressurizing properly. He also ensured us that there were no additional leaks with our well. We both could hear water pumping, which is what I informed him 1 st the thing. He gave me a well repair mans phone # and charged me 125$. He was at my place 10 minutes & l live within 5 minutes from his house. It was not an emergency or after hours. Lesson Learned

But the customer service when it came time to pay the bill was totally lacking. We've never dealt with a provider who insisted he would not leave our driveway until he was paid. My wife was driving to South Bend and I had to come home from work to write a check. (I didn't know how unpleasantly he spoke to my wife on the phone or I wouldn't have been pleasant with him when I paid.) A decent enough plumber, I guess, but, in our case, not nice to work with in the end. Just send a bill.
