They let their students lie and threatening people, the school staff deems it to be appropriate to do the same. Today I received a threatening phone call for over two weeks. I have been trying to claim my silent auction item. The student involved has been completely unwilling to let the item go. on the phone trying to find out which school is responsible. Once I did, I wanted the school to hold its student responsible for their actions within our community. That is when I received a very threatening phone call, Maria McIntyre explain that it was not the school. It was their students and the parents, and then proceeded to threaten me. I was very polite when I went to the school, they let me talk to David, the seniors principal. I was even given his phone number. he said he would look into this and contact the people involved and they would be getting back to me. The seniors this year led the entire community to believe that Golden Eagle charter school was involved with their senior trip craft fair & silent auction held at the Mount Shasta Resort, who said it was Golden Eagle charter school who rented the space. Golden Eagle charter school has went round and round and round claiming it wasn't them and now claiming it was kind of them, but still not them, just their students & the parents with no affiliation to them. these are the antics that they are teaching your children that your children do not have to be a responsible accountable person for themselves or the community. They are your children to lie and deceive. Everyone they are learning this from the staff and from their parents. We live in a small community. We don't need people raising their children to be liars and nefarious individuals. We don't need Golden Eagle charter school teaching our kids that being a liar and taking advantage of people is a good thing. in this world, we live in with all of us, trying to make this a better place Golden Eagle charter school and the parents of the senior class ensuring their students are liars, take advantage of people and act nefarious. As if this is a good thing. many bad things about public thought charter schools would be better.. I am here to tell charter schools are the same and public school system is so much better than Golden Eagle Charter School. I have no clue how Golden Eagle charter school got so far off track. Maybe it's because they don't report to anybody but themselves so they cannot be held accountable. They do not teach, accountability, responsibility, discipline, or ethics, let alone how to be a positive productive person, adult, or community member. They are releasing these dysfunctional children into our community. Golden Eagle charter school harbors bullies. They will also give classes or courses that won't transfer over credits to another school if you needed to switch and they decide if the work that your child does is "enough" for the week. The Ef's are going To cancel and switch meeting with you but when you need to switch or miss one it's a problem on your end and can result in attendance problems. The Ef my child has had would repeatable tell her that if she didn't finish in the week she wouldn't graduate or she wouldn't give her credit for the class. The Ef my child has had also gave her a years worth a class for a semester and then tried to not give Her the correct amount of credits to the work they had assigned. The ef wouldnt let my child switch out of a class at the end of the 1 semester when she needed the 1 semester to finish science Off. Just really look into this "school " before.

Great school, great staff. Would not choose any other public Jr. High for my daughter. It's small,…read morefamily oriented, and safe. Principals are easy to locate, easy to talk to, and truly care about the school and every single student.
