They've been servicing my lawn for the past year, promising to make it weed-free and green soon. However, my lawn has finally gotten messed up. They did some erosion and cut all my internet cable, landscape lights wire, and several sprinkler heads. When I called customer service and asked for a supervisor, she didn't want to talk. She wanted to know the problem. When I started explaining, she said she didn't understand my language, calling it a "language barrier." Finally, when I got her manager on the phone, she also acted like it was my fault. She said I shouldn't have buried the cable 6 inches deeper, as if I was the problem. I explained that I don't have internet access anymore. I have lots of smart equipment and other devices, but instead of apologizing, She said I had sent her pictures and that she would send her tech support. It's been almost 10 days, and no one has contacted me. If I could give this company a rating, I would give them a minus-101 out of 10. Don't use this company anymore. Weed Man of Montgomery/Dothan is not very easy to do business with. I had them come out several times to address issues, all to no avail. Weed Man is a good name for them as they just fertilized the weeds. Their response is that the coverage I had didn't cover the weeds that I actually have..aka...Duck weed is a late blommer and is not covered. Well, what does "Pre-emergence" treatment mean? They sprayed my lawn in October with a preemergent. For some reason it killed the front lawn and not the back. It would come back in Spring they said and I trusted that it would. Only weeds are coming up now and they refused to do anything about it after letting me live with this mess for 4 months. read more

We used Weedman for two years. we found that large portions of the grass didn't seem to be thriving like the rest of the yard. I contacted them to see if they could also fertilize the affected portion of the yad.Despite my repeated requests, the tech told me when confronted that they didn't know to cover that part. This is pretty amazing since they fertilized a part of the side yard. Not only that, one portion of the yard was not covered because (I think) the hose they used didn't reach that far. To do so, they'd have to move the truck closer. It's very disappointing to pay $150 for treatment and 25% of the yard was missed. I thought it was just me until two neighbors had a similar experience with Weedman. Do yourself a favor and use one of the many services around town that will do a good job for you. Why is it so difficult to reach a customer service rep when an existing paying customer has a concern/problem regarding their service? This makes customers feel that they are not valued and diminishes the good service that may be being provided in the field! Have called several times the years or more that I have been a customer of The Weed Man (Montgomery) and only maybe a couple of times has the call been answered. Getting to be a norm which is making me seriously contemplate dropping this company from servicing my lawn! Customer service was great when I signed up and paid in full, in advance for the annual service. The service was going well until I called, asked for a respray as weeds were popping up in places that could have been missed. Not with the request of a respray but with the young supervisor (Montgomery, AL) who showed up and said that he would not respray as it would be an additional charge. While complaining to him he became a irritated and argumentative. He did not respray, instead he went to his truck, called whom I assume was his boss. I could not hear the conversation; however, a week or so later I received a refund for the remaining service. I made an effort to speak to Mr Faulk to advise him of the incident, he would not return my call. I am very skeptical if I should use this service. They came by my house and said they would do a survey of my property and leave the proposal in my mailbox. A few day later I received a phone call telling me it would be about $95 per application for 6 applications and it would make my lawn look great. He said their work is also guaranteed. I called back after thinking about it and requested the proposal ( what they would do and when they would do it) as well as their guarantee be mailed to my house. He told me that they don't do that. Everything is over the phone and I would receive en email with the agreement via email "after" I signed up for the service. What kind of legitimate service doesn't offer anything in writing, especially their guarantee? My opinion, a company that isn't legitimate. Seems very sketchy to me.
