Dr. Maggs and crew fixed a major hip length disparity so I can no walk without feeling like Igor. My other issue was chronic muscle spasticity which was due to past surgeries and other issues that are better suited for Erin's modality of therapy. This type of therapy nothing like the deep tissue massages or myofascial work I was used to. In fact, I couldn't discern what Erin was even doing since this is a light touch therapy. Right when I was thinking I may have wasted my money, I had muscle adhesions releasing in the area she was focused on, but also on the opposite side of my body and then all over. It was surprisingly effective and she had me sold halfway through my first session. She also offers small affordable packages at a discount. For those paying out of pocket like myself, this was like the cherry on top of a supreme banana split sundae. Erin is a true healer and I just found myself nodding my head when she told me she used to be a RN. She has a passion for healing and helping others that really shines through and just adds the wonderfully welcoming environment at Dr. Magg's office. I must also say that their scheduling app is both extremely easy to use, and such a time saver. I was referred to Dr. Nate by someone at the gym. My first appointment was very thorough. He asked a ton of questions, did an X-ray, an adjustment and a massage. He also told me he was a nutritionist and if I ever had any questions to feel free to ask. I was given an ice pack and some bio freeze and told to come back for my results in a day or two. I mentioned how I wasn't sure if I could I would have to figure a babysitter out and then make an appointment. He said bring them. You'll be in and out and I would rather take care of your back and get you up and running again then to have you miss an appointment. I was a little apprehensive about bringing 3 small children ages 2,3,and 6 into my appointment but Dr. Nate was so good with them. He showed them what he was doing, he had them check my feet. He really made me so relaxed having them there because honestly I was waiting for it to be an awful idea. I have brought them in plenty times since and I am feeling better than I have in a while. I also love the little gifts I get in the mail every once in a while. To make a long story even longer, I would recommend Dr. Nate to anyone that is in a lot pain or just wants maintenance appointments to keep your body well adjusted and performing like it should.

They did and had an opening so I canceled a previous appointment and drove 40 miles to their office. Once there I find out that my medicare insurance won't pay for anything but the actual adjustment. So without prior notice, I was expected to pay at least $60.00 and whatever 'extras' the doctor decided I needed on the spot. While this can happen, it should NOT happen when the staff member asked if I had a Medicare plan and I said yes. She knew I would have to pay out of pocket when I got there and deliberately kept that nugget to herself. This was made all the more annoying since the intake forms she sent me to fill out were 14 pages long. When I challenged her about withholding this information after I specifically called for the coverage information she simply said they don't normally discuss it on the phone. Right. I guess that's because after most people drive there and wade through the ridiculously long intake forms they acquiesce to pay rather than start over with another doctor. This was deliberate on their part and I suspect a little too opportunistic. Never again will I trust this doctor's office for any reason.
