I mentioned how I wasn't sure if I could I would have to figure a babysitter out and then make an appointment. He said bring them. You'll be in and out and I would rather take care of your back and get you up and running again then to have you miss an appointment. I was a little apprehensive about bringing 3 small children ages 2,3,and 6 into my appointment but Dr. Nate was so good with them. He showed them what he was doing, he had them check my feet. He really made me so relaxed having them there because honestly I was waiting for it to be an awful idea. I have brought them in plenty times since and I am feeling better than I have in a while. I also love the little gifts I get in the mail every once in a while. If there's one thing I detest it's when office staff deliberately withhold information. I called…read moreProactive Chiropractic to see if they took my insurance. They did and had an opening so I canceled a previous appointment and drove 40 miles to their office. Once there I find out that my medicare insurance won't pay for anything but the actual adjustment. So without prior notice, I was expected to pay at least $60.00 and whatever 'extras' the doctor decided I needed on the spot. While this can happen, it should NOT happen when the staff member asked if I had a Medicare plan and I said yes. She knew I would have to pay out of pocket when I got there and deliberately kept that nugget to herself. This was made all the more annoying since the intake forms she sent me to fill out were 14 pages long. When I challenged her about withholding this information after I specifically called for the coverage information she simply said they don't normally discuss it on the phone. Right. I guess that's because after most people drive there and wade through the ridiculously long intake forms they acquiesce to pay rather than start over with another doctor. This was deliberate on their part and I suspect a little too opportunistic. Never again will I trust this doctor's office for any reason. Provider letter of complaint to Medigold office soon to follow.

My body is in better shape than it has been in YEARS, with increased mobility and a lot less pain. I currently see Dr. Miles, who is fantastic - very knowledgeable and helpful any time I have pain or discomfort. The staff are great - very friendly and helpful, and helped me keep track of my insurance info when navigating my car accident. Since the pandemic, they've kept the waiting room clear, and I can almost always get an appointment within a day or two, and usually the same day when needed. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for relief!
