Prior to purchasing, I clearly and repeatedly stated that I did not want a used vehicle with major mechanical issues. I was assured multiple times that the vehicle was well maintained, previously owned by someone who "took great care of it," and that it only needed routine service and new tires. Within days of purchase, I took the vehicle to Mercedes-Benz of Alexandria for Service B. Their inspection revealed multiple serious mechanical issues, including a leaking rear main seal with a repair estimate of over $8,000, along with additional issues bringing the total estimated repairs to over $15,000. Although the vehicle was sold as-is, this is not buyer's remorse -- it is misrepresentation of the vehicle's condition at the time of sale. After significant back-and-forth, the dealership agreed to cover the rear main seal repair. However, I was still required to pay $2,000 out of pocket for that repair, on top of numerous serious mechanical issues such as: * Rear main seal failure * Tie rod replacement * Steering damper issues * Rear shark fin replacement * Brakes and rotors * Alignment * Additional mechanical concerns that should not surface so soon after purchase This entire process was exhausting and emotionally draining. Communication was delayed, defensive, and lacked transparency. At no point was there proactive accountability or full disclosure prior to the sale. Buying a vehicle at this price point should come with honesty and clear communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I strongly recommend that potential buyers obtain an independent inspection BEFORE purchase and not rely solely on verbal assurances. This purchase turned into a financial and emotional nightmare, and I do not recommend this dealership.

Everything sounded like so great so I confirmed and he said that he'd be there in 25 minutes. I expected him to be late but he was there before 25 minutes as promised. Promises are hard to keep when you're busy but Dennis seems like a business owner that holds true to his word. Talking to him on the car ride to my mechanic, it seems that Dennis prides himself in customer service and always has a positive outlook. I work in the customer service industry myself and I was highly impressed. As a result, I personally recommend him for any roadside assistance needed. The dispatch was so nice and friendly and told me to turn my flashers on and that he is sending a driver right the way. The tow truck driver Danny arrived really fast and it took him literally 2 min to load my Volvo on his truck. On our way to the dealership Danny offered me bottle of water and made me feel really comfortable. I want to thank the driver and the dispatch for being so helpful in such a difficult situation.

Recently I was in the market for a new car after mine completely broke down. I found Montrose Motors online, and to be honest the reviews were super mixed. I was a little hesitant but decided to check it out anyways. Online you're able to look at their inventory, and get the Carfax. I enjoyed that everything was linked together and it made browsing extremely easy. I was able to print off each car that I was interested in and bring the print out in. I was shown every car that I was interested in plus one more that fit my needs. I came back later that night to test drive the car with my boyfriend. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. I worked mostly with the employee Sam. He was very nice and knowledgeable... Plus extremely patient. The dealership allowed me to take the car the next day to my mechanic to get it looked at. There were a couple of minor things I wanted corrected before purchasing. The dealership had no problem fixing all of my requests for free. When it came time to actually purchasing a car Sam was helpful when dealing with my bank for an auto loan. If you are in the area and looking to purchase a car give this place a thought.
