When I tell them they are going to the dentist they get so excited. Dr. Sakhi is gentle with the kids and speaks to the parents after in a gentle manor. She lets me know what to look for that could be problems, and also let's me know when I shouldn't worry. I've been in love from the beginning, I was able to go in on my son's first appointment. When my daughter started she got to lay on the chair with her brother to feel comfortable. The waiting space is open and warm. The rooms are magical with clouds etc. Even the bathroom is cute. Also she filled 2 cavities for my kid and at her follow-up appt said that the cavities are still growing despite us brushing and flossing everyday. I don't feel the cavities were filled correctly. She is offered no treatment other than silver diamine which is expensive, isn't covered by insurance and although she never mentioned this, after my own research it apparently needs to be redone every 6 months or so. She could've refilled the cavities at her expense or taken the time to explain the option a bit more instead of handing me a handout on my way out the door. I've had probably 15 cavities in my lifetime and never had a reoccurring cavity the very next appointment. So based on my personal experience with previous dentists over the course of my lifetime, and my personal experience at this office over several visits, I don't feel this one is up to par with communication, customer relations or care. No reason to stick around. I'm sure they will try to explain away this as they have the previous reviews instead of accepting responsibility for anything, or saying that's my perception of the events so let's have it.

Kids get to choose stickers and a toy after the appointment too, which is a big plus for my kiddo. My 3 year old has been 3 times now for check-ups, and this past time he was particularly concerned about being at the dentist. He did major work on my son at Childrens hospital when he was a toddler. Both my children love going to him. He really cares about the best interest of his children and only prescribes work when it is absolutely necessary . He does not use needles for numbing. His staff is also amazing, kind and friendly. I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else. I wish I could go here !! I am so proud that our children have had a positive experience with dentistry. They make kiddos feel at ease and will do everything in their power to make the experience a pleasant one so the next time they're able to do just a tad bit more than the time before. Kids earn tokens from the hygienist and dentist for allowing them to do what they ask (within reason) and then they can spend the token in the lobby on a toy from the toy machines. They also get a dentist goody bag as well at the end of the visit including the normal toothbrush, paste, & floss.
