Also she filled 2 cavities for my kid and at her follow-up appt said that the cavities are still growing despite us brushing and flossing everyday. I don't feel the cavities were filled correctly. She is offered no treatment other than silver diamine which is expensive, isn't covered by insurance and although she never mentioned this, after my own research it apparently needs to be redone every 6 months or so. She could've refilled the cavities at her expense or taken the time to explain the option a bit more instead of handing me a handout on my way out the door. I've had probably 15 cavities in my lifetime and never had a reoccurring cavity the very next appointment. So based on my personal experience with previous dentists over the course of my lifetime, and my personal experience at this office over several visits, I don't feel this one is up to par with communication, customer relations or care. No reason to stick around. I'm sure they will try to explain away this as they have the previous reviews instead of accepting responsibility for anything, or saying that's my perception of the events so let's have it.

Since he struggles with severe anxiety, he has to be sedated for cavity procedures. This was the second procedure he needed to have and doing it in the office was preferred all around for ease, timeliness and cost. The entire staff was professional, demonstrated compassion, kindness, and encouragement. The anesthesiologists from Dream were superior. Everyone communicated the process and after care thoroughly with follow up calls and texts to ensure he was well. On a side note, as I read the other reviews, especially the negative ones, I struggle to accept their opinion of this dental office. This dental office is out of network for us and possibly for a lot of people which will lead to higher prices. And you know your child best and need to be advocate for them, so if Dr. Sakhi's practice isn't the right fit for your family, that's okay. However, we believe our son receives the best care for his type of disability and I believe Dr. Sakhi can pride herself on taking care of children like my son who cannot and will not have care in a "regular" dental office. At one time, when Dr. Sakhi didn't think she could help us, she referred us out, this is not poor care but rather the opposite, it's caring enough about your patient to ensure they get the best possible care. And when we needed to postpone his procedure due to insurance issues, they worked with us and continued to monitor my son's dental health. They didn't pressure us, they waited until we were ready and for that I am grateful. Thank you Tooth and Co!

Kids get to choose stickers and a toy after the appointment too, which is a big plus for my kiddo. He did major work on my son at Childrens hospital when he was a toddler. Both my children love going to him. He really cares about the best interest of his children and only prescribes work when it is absolutely necessary . He does not use needles for numbing. His staff is also amazing, kind and friendly. I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else. I wish I could go here !! I am so proud that our children have had a positive experience with dentistry.
