We were married on Mackinac Island and used Weber's Floral as our florist for our July wedding. Tami and Jay are extremely professional and nice to work with. We discussed in detail what the wedding vision was and Tami created a line by line invoice of what was in the plan and what each item cost. Pros: Upon entering into our wedding venue, I was pleased with the tall glass centerpieces draped with pearls and the flower balls that were placed on the chairs for the aisles. The tent set up with the lanterns and petals, chair linens and covers, etc was stunning. The topiaries that were placed by the tent entrance were perfect and grand in size, which I loved.We had three separate gerber daisy bouquets that were delivered during our wedding week which arrived on time and were beautiful. The bride's bouquet was luscious and gorgeous! The mothers' corsages/bracelets were fantastic and so was the groom's bouittenere. Cons: The maid of honor bouquets were not larger than the rest of the bridal bouquets as I had requested. I had 9 bridesmaids and I was unhappy with how small the bouquets were. I had envisioned them much larger. For spending close to $4,000 for flowers for our wedding, I was not 100% satisfied with our flowers. We stayed at the Inn at Stonecliffe, and our flowers were not delivered to our suite. The girls were made to go pick them up on their own from somewhere else on the venue, which I found odd. Our bridal brunch, hair and make up all took place in the suite, so there was no reason why our flowers couldn't be delivered to our suite. This is more of a comment for the Inn not Webers. I had asked for pink chiffon draped fabric for our entryway to our tent and it wasn't as I envisioned. I thought there would be much more fabric and it would be more dramatic. If I could give zero stars I would. Perhaps the rudest business owners I have ever encountered. We went in to Weber's to purchase some flowers for a friends 50th anniversary, which I we found out about late the night before. When we entered the store, we weren't even greeted, just given an unpleasant look. We inquired about a bouquet and we were told it would be at least the late afternoon because of all the weddings. We mentioned we were just looking for a small bouquet, something simple. At that point the man waved around the shop and said, " You see all of these? They are pretty much spoken for and we will have no idea what we will have left until late afternoon." It wasn't just what he said, but the tone in which he said it. How anyone can treat others like this and stay in business, I have absolutely no idea, but I can assure you I will never return. read more

I grew up in St. Ignace, and Weber's was always excellent. So this year for my mother's birthday I decided to have a plant delivered to her. I decided to use Weber's as a local shop instead of some large company. I submitted an online request the night before the flower were to be delivered. My mother never received anything on her birthday and I never received a phone call. The next day I called the shop and got ahold of Tami who informed me that the staff does not take care of online ordering, the owner does. She then gave me the owner's number. He answered and told me he had e-mailed me since they had no plants, but didn't want to call me because he didn't know what the time difference was. Um it was a SAME DAY delivery, who checks their email every day? Also if you were online to email me couldn't you have looked up the time difference? He then asked if a floral arrangement could be substituted. I said yes, assuming since they had to substitute it would be the same cost. After getting off the phone with him I called the shop back to cancel the delivery as my mom would be in town on that day (needless to say the surprise was ruined by this time). When I called Tami asked if I would like the delivery charge put into the floral arrangement and told me the price and shipping...IT WAS MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL ORDER for both the arrangement AND the shipping! My mom did end up with beautiful flowers at the end but I will NOT be using this shop again as the customer service was horrible and the owner did nothing to rectify my situation nor did he apologize once. read more

A perfect NIGHTMARE! We placed an online order for a $70+ arrangement to be delivered to our ailing Mother three days before the holiday, we received a confirmation number and statement that indicated our request was satisfied. On our order was a clear description of what we asked for, our telephone numbers, day and night and name and address of the recipient. When we found that our Mother did not receive what we had ordered on a Saturday, day before Mother's Day, we left numerous messages on Webers answering machine, asking for someone to please call us back. On Mothers day, Mr. Weber called and spoke with my wife instead of me and told her that they didn't have the product we ordered. When my wife mentioned that there was a confirmation number, he said indignantly "oh well". He further said "you didn't put a second choice on your request so we didn't order anything". She told him that there was no place to put a second choice "oh well". He said that they did receive the order on the day we ordered it. When she asked if he could send flowers out to her this evening he said "no, I'll just cancel the order" rudely and hung up. I left several messages for Mr. Weber to call "me" to see if he can explain why he can abuse women over the phone and won't talk with me. Mr. Weber, I'll be happy to talk with you. Others, DO NOT purchase any item from this "Company". In a nut shell, my Mother did not get her present. We live over 1500 miles away and we could only offer her our apologies.But as a Mother, she was calming and understanding. It's too bad Mr. Weber, that you're the only Florist within communiting distance of St. Ignace. Guess you think you have the corner on the market. Kinda like "take it or leave it", so to speak. I went in here to send flowers or a plant to my mother in law for her birthday. I only wanted to spend $40 dollars. I knew it wouldn't get my much, but I knew my mother in law would be ecstatic to receive anything. So I went in to the store after researching where to go in the area. I asked what I could get with the money I was willing to spend. (I had never ordered flowers for anybody before) The lady just looked at me like I was a moron for a minute and then she finally pulled out a book. She told me I wouldn't be able to get anything with any roses, not even a single rose. I knew I wouldn't be getting a bouquet or roses for her but the lady seemed pissed like I was being cheap. I was spending almost $50 on something that was going to die in a week. I had them sent to her house and she was at work and missed them 2 days in a row and left notes on her door. It was a SURPRISE people!! So I had to confess and call this place and tell them she wouldn't be home and to just leave them on her doorstep, she lives in no mans land so it cost me extra to have them delivered to her. The lady tried to refuse but I had already paid for the flowers so she didn't have much of a choice. I never even got to see what I paid for since when I went to my mother in laws a few days later she had already tossed them because they were dead. read more
